I have been making videos for several months of bass play throughs of cdlc, I see numerous channels doing the same but many of my videos are being taken down. Are there any tips that I could use in order to avoid the removal of my content?

Invert one of the audio channels in the video. Either left or right, not both. This will cause the two channels to "cancel out" when the fucking copyright robots go after it. = The bot hears nothing of value.

Or set the soundtrack option to 0 in the game and only record your guitar or bass sound. That way you won't be using copyrighted music as the backing track in your playthrough videos.

Or you could just de-monetize your Youtube account?

 

I dunno what happens in your country, but I just unticked the "monetize" box in my profile and I can basically upload anything, even Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix.

 

Then the copyright holders get advertising cash, instead of me.

 

 

The rules do depend on the specific content and the specific country though, I think.
