Hi I'm new to the forum as well as rocksmith and this is my first post.

I would love to put custom dlc on my rocksmith 2014 for ps3 however I do not have a PC. I use my smartsmartphone for the Internet and can download the ready made cdlc from the existing database. My question is having no pc is there still a way of putting the dlc on my ps3? For example by putting the dlc in my phones external storage I'm folders that are structured like the ps3 file system? I hope this makes sense and that someone can help. I've read a bit on the subject but all the topics I've seen mention software I'd need to install which isn't compatible with my phone.

It's not really possible.  Most of the customs posted here would need to be converted to PS3 format first, which is PC/Mac only software.  Then, as you've already read, you need PC/Mac software to transfer the files to your PS3.

You also need to mod/jailbreak your PS3 in order to have access to the filesystem and to be able to load the customs.

Assuming you have a modded ps3 you can use the file manager within multiman to transfer from an external drive to the internal folder for DLC, I use a usb flash drive but a phone in mass storage mode would work. You will need to make sure you are DL'ing the ps3 versions of the CDLC if it is offered. Without a PC you cannot take advantage of the toolkit to convert PC/Mac/xbox to ps3 format.
