I'm really enjoying the content on this website, but being an old fart, I tend to download songs from the 60s and 70s. I haven't found a way to sort by the year the song was published. Is this a feature that I'm missing? If not, does anyone else think that this would be a useful enhancement?

It's not possible because there is no field for "year of release" when submitting entries to the database.

 

It would take a power of work to backtrack on 10,000 records and investigate year of release, so I think you will need to just find alternate ways of searching.

 

Certain charters will stick to certain bands/types of music, so if you come across something you like just search by that charter.  Chances are you will music from the same era.

 

I've done a fair amount of 70s stuff, and I know that Aludog and GetTheLedOut have done a lot of older stuff too.
