I started a new job this week. I have little time so I am hoping to get some playing time in Sat before the competition ends. I have played the Advanced song quite a few times now and I must say that the inability to correctly pronounce prodigal is really annoying me at this point and I have little desire to hear that song again.

 

I'll probably get over it.

Also, question:

I have a version I made with re-mixed audio and half step higher tuning. Can I post scores from that one or does this version only count? I like how it sounds/plays a half a step higher

If not ill stick to this one, no worries

I think if it's the same version of the song with the same charting and same amount of notes should ba no problem, but if it's half step up this should be another charting, without open strings? You have to uptune your bass or use a capo

I altered the tuning to represent, it's D# A# D# G# C E# and D# A# D# G# respectively, so no capo nor re-chart of notes

Working on Left Hands Free.  After an hour yesterday and an hour today...

 

97.28% accuracy, longest streak of 98 notes.  There's still lots of work to be done

So the first extra points have been scored, i think this adds quite to the competition, finally i have been able to implement the counting of total # of competitors in all paths to keep track of the growing competition.

i think you've got something wrong in the way you calculate the MC Lead/Rhythm section, if i compare it with the last

weeks leaderboard of you the changes this week in MC Lead are Nacholede + 3 pts frippchen + 2, for me + 5 and theneverend got -5?

In MC Rhythm frippchen got +5 pts and i got nothing.

Shouldn't the points be +10 for me, +5 for nacholede, +3 for frippchen and +1 for theneverend in MCLead

and +5 frippchen and +10 for me?

seems weird, i thought the points are distributed in 10/5/3/1 steps, and no subtraction.

@@Latsch it's sum of points from 10 weeks, that's why you can see someone loosing points.

As @@Mortalo pointed out - its a running score system for the last 10 weeks, so the points of week 59 are gone and 69 are added.

I suck playing rhythm arrangements (chords), wasn't expecting this at all, specially since I rarely open the leaderboard, so I usually don't know which in which place I finished in any arrangement, unless I get 1st, in that case I see it in the new week's thread (but that happened only once :lol:)

I'm really impressed with all the great score on the lead intermediate this week. I played it several times today but I'm still stuck at the low 90is.

 

So i played some advanced instead.

There is something weird with this cdlc. You always get higher accuracy than mastery.

Thanks guys, I wasn't aware at all of those 3 weeks, I just checked the LB and you're absolutely right, I just had no idea... I guess this shows how much competitive I am :lol:

 

Now seriously, I'm really surprised with those scores, only a few months ago I could never get scores not even close to the ones I got in those 3 weeks.

I guess playing every day, lots of different songs, all 3 paths has been helping a lot in developing skills, which is great, because I always try to play all songs and I have a lot of fun doing so, so I think I will continue :D
