Some CDLC's not loading regardless of its ID

Hello all,

I've discovered your amazing community and now I feel compelled to call upon your expertise.

I've read all the tutorials and have the patcher, the dll file and the cherub rock official dlc. I'm on pc and a lot of CDLC's work fine!

However I've found several CDLC's with the cherub rock id to not load which left me puzzled after I went over possible issues.

Please if anyone is familiar with this issue, help me out!

Those cdlcs that don't work might just be crap.  If it crashes Rocksmith, it's probably something the creator of that cdlc did wrong.  Also, make sure you don't have multiple versions of the same song in you dlc folder, i.e. v1 and v2.  This can cause a crash as well.

Here's a list of corrupted cdlc: http://customsforge.com/topic/4863-list-of-crashers-jammers-dead-toners-and-misc-problems/

Sometimes simply repacking the song with the Rocksmith Toolkit will fix those trouble songs.

Thank you for the replies, this makes a lot of sense! Will try repackaging and otherwise will compile a list of DOA.
