The forums have been upgraded and will be undergoing changes within the next 48 hours.

It would appear that we might be in luck or possibly under a bigger microscope soon.

Windows 10 will include xbox1 on the operating system.

Direct X 12 seems to be a great leap forward with improvements even for existing pc's.

Windows 10 will be a free upgrade and the ad from the head of xbox states that even he uses steam with xbox 1 so that shouldnt be a problem.    You get a free upgrade to windows 10 if you have windows 7 or 8.

We might be getting an influx of new members this year when it is released.

Personally I am going to build out a box now utilizing this technology and get another projector to use in the interim just for gaming.

On the surface it looks like good news for us.   What do you think ?

Yeah, where did you read that Phil Spencer has Steam for Xbox One?  The article I read said that he used the Xbox app on Windows 10 to record gameplay from his Steam library, on Windows 10.

Also, Windows 10 does not include "Xbox One" on the operating system.  It includes an Xbox app, which is just a revamped version of SmartGlass.  The only cool new feature is that you can stream Xbox One gameplay to your PC.  But you'll still be playing the game on Xbox One and need the console to play it.

You can also do cross-platform multiplayer, for games that are released both on Windows and Xbox One.
