How can you extract tones from rs2012 dlc?

I want to convert a dlc from 2012 to 2014, but I cant seem to find a way for the tones to load from the import section on the Toolkit. I keep getting an error.

    Olorin is right. The way tones are designed are completely different in 2014. There's no straightforward way to convert a 2012 tone to a 2014 tone. 

     

    The best way is to just sit down and design a new tone as close as you can to the old tone with the new tone designer. If you need help with that let me know.
