Tab Editing Software other than Guitar Pro?

Quick Question: is it possible to use other Tab Editor software such as Tux?? Being that its free?? Can EoF import that song file??

    thx. By trial and error you can't simply rename the tuxguitar file.

    I found in tuxguitar that u are able to export to .gp5 file that can then (obviously) be imported into EoF however.

     

    Since I don't have GP5 I can't tell how accurate the export is or if it is as good as creating the tab in GP5 originally.

    I've always used tux it works just fine. There are online converters that allow you to convert Gpx tabs to go5 so that isn't an issue either. TUX will save a file as gp5 just select save as and boom, no problem.
