No CDLC working, can't figure out problem!

Featured Replies

So I have tried installing several custom songs to the Rocksmith on my computer but when I try to play them in game nothing works. The icon itself with the album cover, name, artist, etc. of the song and even the song plays, but when I actually play the song and go through Rocksmith tuning, nothing but the background shows up on screen. The tuning gui disappears, and no song structure loads as per usual.

To install the song, I first download it, place it in my rocksmith DLC folder. Then I open up custom song toolkit, DLC packer/unpacker, set to RS2014, then select a song DLC I have already, and hit enter (All done with admin privileges). After this I load up Rocksmith 2014 and get the error I explained when trying to play the recently installed song.

PC Specs:

Intel i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.70 Ghz

8.00 GB DDR

XFX Radeon HD 7850 Core Edition 2GB

- I don't think the issue is my specs but just in case.

Thanks guys

I am not quite sure but I think you are missing one *.dll* file which is required to play the Customs...I can't find it though, sry.

Must be explained and somewhere to find in the forum I guess...

I just created a cdlc and it wont load, so I download the Beatles all you need is love cdlc and that didnt show either. I had in stalled the DLL I have others cdlc already.

I'm having the same issue still. I have the file copied the downloaded files to the DLC folder, used the program listed on youtube and used a purchased song as suggested. The Dll  D3DX9_42.dll was found on the internet. I restarted the program 2014. The program loaded up and the songs are there, for example, I started back in black. Tuned the guitar, however, there were no tabs after that. I have tried several other songs and I'm having the same issue. I'm sure it's something I over looked. Sure can use some assistance.  BTW my anti-virus program did not like the listed  D3DX9_42.dll on the above listed link. I went as far as trying another DLL.  I'm having the same problem...

I'm having the exact same problem - nothing happens after tuning.

you should download the d3dx9_42.dll file from this forum

i downloaded the file at first time from another Website and it doesnt worked, but with the file from this Forum it works!
