Looking for more "common" bands/songs

Hi there,

I looking for some bands which play more common/usual songs. My problem is, I dont listen to music since about 15 years, because I'm almost deaf. Rocksmith and headphones made it possible for me to play guitar. I downloaded some bands I kown from the 90's. Green Day, Oasis and some metal bands. But I dont want to play only chords. So thats why I need your help.

Can someone tell me few band names... maybe blues, pop, or something more (I hate this word) "mainstream"..?

try searching using DLs as the search function, the more people have downloaded a song chances are the more popular it is.

Muse is kind of big mainstream band with simple yet catchy riffs to play

Foo Fighters is a huge mainstream band too (early-mid albums imo)

Both are included in the game. Have you played all of the included tracks already?

@@PierreDole Check out Metric. While Gimme Sympathy is chord exclusive other ones have some nice riffs. No doubt that Emily Haines (singer) steals the show, still guitar is really fun.
