Got this out of the way so I can concentrate on getting I'll Get Even up to 100%, and whatever I can muster on Bat Country.

Not a great score, but at least I hit the 100%.

I hate to say that cause i love the Mdeth song - i think carpe diem could be uses as regular adv bass, enough string switching, short sinnglenote section - diff 7 for me, Megadeth diff 4

I just tried several times in a row, and now I can't get the opening chords to register properly/completely.  It is very bizarre -- the one on 12th fret D / 10th fret G hits.  Then I slide town to 7/6, and it goes "Perfect!" "Miss!" right as that chord pops up.  I think that means that It is technically registering the chord, but NOT the slide.

 

Just tried it 5+ times in a row on both my 5 string and 4 string, and got 2 misses resulting in a strike on the first section every time.  When I gave up and played through the rest, I beat my previous score but lower accuracy because I had 2 misses instead of 1:

 

I know that it is possible to get that chord+slide to register, because I have that run with only 1 miss.

 

Are you (or anybody else playing the song, bass path) having any issues in that part?  Plus the instantaneous start?  If anyone else is having issues, I might do a quick edit of the custom with an added 2-3 seconds of leading silence, and maybe removing the slide if it keeps being screwy to register.

Yeah, my experience is that i was getting a few misses but a lot of lates here - it works way better when you do the slides really fast and hit the chords rather early!!

After getting frustrated on I'll Get Even's detection, I went back to Bat Country:

One note, pretty close to the end of the song!  It was fully my fault, can't whine about detection though.  Still, that was definitely the most epic run I've ever done on this song...  Super pumped!

Ok, I will switch Metallica bass with Megadeth.

Oh, and despite my scores saying otherwise (I started off with the easy ones, to get used to the scale of the instrument), I'd agree with the new ranking of the bass songs.

That's about my skill level for guitar...  Fun to play but those bloody tiny strings cut into the ol' fingers after a while.  :)

Sure - sometimes the most heartbreaking decisions are the best - sigh!

 

Now if the others agree on a 7, we have a perfect adv song - great, and yes - we keep on playing that Mdeth tune ;)

@@MilkmanDan I played through the Megadeth and there is definitely a problem with the double stop slides recognition at the beginning. Took me 5 restarts for them to register properly.

@@then3verend Oh I already have my first MM score. I was trying to improve it before I posted haha. You aren't taking my A7X from me though! And I honestly don't think I'll get sick of Bat Country within a week.
