I'm having some issues trying to load a song into EOF. I've been using Go PlayAlong for most of my stuff, and for the most part things have worked out. Now I'm trying to upload a song I got from Power Tab and its telling me "File format version is not supported". Even though it is an XML file. Does anyone know how I can correct this problem?

The XML file is only used to apply timing to the imported tab file, but EOF cannot import a PowerTab file. If you are able to use Go PlayAlong or another program to save the tab in Guitar Pro format (version 5 or older), you'll be able to edit the XML file to specify the name of the Guitar Pro file and then EOF should be able to load the XML and tab.

Managed to figure out the issue. Thank you for responding anyway

Ok apparently I didn't work out the issue at all. I thought I fixed it but the song was still not properly in sync. Now I imported the power tab song into guitar pro and saved it as a guitar pro file, which I saved into an XML. However when I put it back into EOF it still didn't read the file.
