Been so busy with finals, barely anytime to practice and forgot to post my scores from the weekend when I did my short reviews!

Gonna try and improve my Johnny B. Goode score to beat out then3verend tonight, no way this could've gone into MM with all the alterations of the verses. Especially since walking basslines are almost never played the exact same twice by a performing bassist.

Looks like this is the best I'm gonna do this week.  Made some big progress with chords though, which I have been avoiding practicing like the plague.  Also gave the intermediate song a shot since word on the street is it's pretty easy.

Hey guys, didn't have much time playing this week (curse you med school exams!!!!) but here's that i've got:

Have been really busy this week, not much time for playing. Decided to focus on just Advanced since I'm low on time, but I plateaued for a long time - couldn't beat my 90 no matter how hard I tried.

 

And then I tried a little harder!

Don't know why I'm having so much trouble getting a score. My second 100% run netted me this score. For some reason my next 15 100% runs haven't gotten above my first score... Its getting worse so I'm going to give up and let my wrist rest.

I got marked down on LAS again last night, and couldn't make it through score attack.  To be honest, I don't really enjoy playing the Maiden song either, so it doesn't help.

Really expected to do better than this. Again had massive issues with chord recognition. Maybe time for an upgrade (good tradesmen always blame their tools  :P). Guitar is a Yamaha Pacifica 012 which by all accounts is a great first guitar. Chords sound fine through the amp, i've played each string of the chord individually to confirm i'm not muting anything i shouldn't be. In the end i found strumming up near the single pickup next to the start of the neck gave the most consistant result....i got an extra 2% just from this, but still missing some of the chords.

 

Anyhow, this is it for me this week. My wife will kill me if she hears this tune once more.....

I made it! Unscathed, though I have cramp in my buttocks from transferring the unwanted tension in my hand to my butt  :huh:  This song's a blast and a work out at the same time! :D I'm happy with that score (don't think it will warrant any points on Rodmans board but, at least I've placed a flipping SA score in MC for once :D. Might give it one last attempt later.

Oh man, I need the Lead/Bass Sweep too after last weeks Fall of Troy(More like Fall of Neverend)

@@Peppe - welcome, great that you are here... though kicking me from the scoring places in adv bass was not the nicest thing to do... ;)

I'm sorry :( I didn't read through all scores and history, just felt like contributing :)

I thought the Amy Winehouse song was both fun to play and a little easier to make progress on for me so I got a better score on it that the Gotcha. I was too bored of the pattern in Naked and the hard parts with the fast fills are where I wasn't going to get much better at this week. Kept going up little by little on You Know I'm Know Good, but would miss a note here and there. But out of time for this week. Will go back to that song though, good pick!

 

Scores for the lead are too bad to post! I know I was hitting *most* of those chords but the game didn't agree, maybe next week! :) Someday I'll play that Johnny B. Goode song! Was so cool in the movie.
