Leaderboard update? Well there was not much to update :P

So maybe Song Selection List? Well, I'm mentioning SSL mostly because of small number of Beginner songs, so get busy with finding them :)

 

Added Good Charlotte's "Like it's Her Birthday" to the SSL. Seems like a good fit for beginners.

MC Bass is hard.  I gave it an 8-9 after my first trial playthrough, I'll revise that to a solid 9.

 

I thought that the meedly meedly bits would get easier after some Riff Repeater time, but so far that hasn't worked out -- not that I've spend LOADS of time on it, but usually I see a very quick improvement in overall accuracy if I play something tough in RR and that didn't cut it here.

 

Still a good song, and fun to try to play along with, but on those tough bits I basically just resort to putting my frethand in the right position and randomly strumming...  I think 94% is pretty much my limit unless I make some major breakthrough on those parts.

Sooo, after 3 days of not improving on FPCREMIX, my hands somehow got the song down finally

started with this one and thought, hey i finally IMRPOVED!

I dont even know how i got that score. Played it like all the days before, but thise time with so much less misses and finally some multiplier!

I dont even know if i can improve on it.

@@Rodman Maybe try Riff Repeater? Playing at slower pace can help. It helped me a lot, though I understand that it's funnier to simply play. Still I wouldn't have patience to go through so many tries (well, maybe for Metric :D ).

@@Rodman Maybe try Riff Repeater? Playing at slower pace can help. It helped me a lot, though I understand that it's funnier to simply play. Still I wouldn't have patience to go through so many tries (well, maybe for Metric :D ).

 

Well, i use RR a lot, o.c. - did here too... nailed every section lots of times, was really confident to go for a 96 or 7 - obviously 

just too tired to deliver one complete run - but - standing (i never sit) behind my gibson in zombie mode playing the song 20 times in a row still was a lot of fun...

Honestly there wasn't that much of a curve from intermediate to advanced for me.

Although I know you try to play each song every week, so I know you're getting better :P

I'm not going to fight for the Lead on MC, i didn't like the song so i'm not going to play it D:

Instead, i will record a playthrough for Walk The Plank! 

Bit better on lead except some X's for some like one note phrases I goofed up.

No updates at all from me. I did make an effort with the MC but I can't even play it through in SA without it X'ing me out near the last few phrases. Been practicing some other stuff instead. I might have a bash at sticking up a score for the pirate song but all depends on if #2son is not vying for my blood tomorrow, he's been a tad under the weather :(

Haha, that score isn't actually from master, I've tried a couple master mode runs, but I keep messing up the verses because sometimes it starts on the A on the E string, and others the octave up and I keep messing them up.
