How do I turn the snowfall off?

I know, groundbreaking issues here, but how do I turn the snowfall effect off? It's quite irritating.

    Move to a warmer climate.

    32C (89F for you metrically impaired 'Muricans) here so guess the snow did melt away. Thanks.
