Got round to having a bit of practice today, might get an hour or so tomorrow but unsure as festivities ensue further for the next couple of days with friends and my family... I've had a few runs through on Billy Talent and it's getting me used to using a plectrum on the bass. Fingers crossed I can get something with a reasonable score up too. :) My 15 month old boy has just got a ukulele so I've been messing about with that for most of the day :D They're bloody good fun I tell thee!

You gave me motivation @@NoonyDeloony with you breaking 1 million on it so I had to try.

This is an awesome finger-picking exercise I love this song but my fingers on both hands are feeling the torture lol. I think this could end up being one of my favorite Judas Priest songs.

Hope Christmas was great for you guys! I got an acoustic guitar strap and a nice big monitor to play Rocksmith on. Pretty busy this week, but I got a few more plays in!

Even though I played the chorus riff really well this run, which is the hardest bit for me, I fumbled a whole bar of chords in the bridge, and that's usually a section I play perfectly. I think I can go even higher on this after some rest.

I tried to pass this on SA twice to no avail. :(  It really isn't going to happen unless I RR the hell out of that solo. But there's a couple % up in LAS, at least.

@@Nacholede I checked out Hellrider (and some other stuff on that album), and I can definitely say I like new Priest better than old Priest now. Really good custom, too.

@@Joey I think that it should be picking :P Like Painkiller is :) I don't think that Hill plays it with fingers.

I'm like @@MilkmanDan here, it way easier for me to play picking, as I don't have to think about my picking hand then. And I learned how to alternate-pick, while playing on bass (though it's way easier then on guitar, thanks to more space between the strings).

@@Mortalo I love finger picking and it really doesn't bother me much to do it. The punishment is coming from not putting down the bass since I got it. I expect some pain because of the thicker strings I am just ignoring it because it's so much fun to play. I love how it feels and sounds and the more I play it the more comfortable I get so it's a good tradeoff.
