Not bad for a sight read, fun song to play, but personally think it's too long haha. Might try and come back to it, but playing an almost 7 minute song over and over again isn't very appealing to me haha.

With regards to the length, all I can say is that you're lucky we've already done Octavarium by Dream Theater, so it can't be chosen again...  (20 minutes of heaven ... or hell, depending on who you ask)

I keep getting a few bad detection misses, along with plenty of honest-to-goodness screwups.  If I could put together an average run (for me) with zero detection fails, I'd clear the 99% mark, but so far that hasn't happened:

 

Still fun to play though -- I'll see if I can improve a bit more in the next couple days.

I just wasted the better part of the morning trying to figure out how to get images on here.  I'm outta here, maybe back later when I'm in a better mood.

Got round to recording The Go-Go's , despite cracked hands and freezing conditions, ... not a winning score but, nyeah, this week was a fold from the get go for me but this and a few other tracks (not in the competition kept me motivated for the week. No more now 'til next week when hopefully I can play with the bigger kids :)

Removing the DD and playing it in score attack helped.

@@MaZtoR May be there after removing DD only half of notes?  B)

I think I got bumped up into the intermediate class for bass.  I'm not sure I'm really ready for that so I tried both beginner and intermediate songs for bass.

@@KJParsley Well, as they say - challenge is the best tutor. Besides @ thinks it's (We Got the Beat) Beginner song, as he gave it 3/10 :P (I wouldn't be so sure :) ).

Well, for bass, The Jack is the beginner song, and it is for sure the easier of the two. On guitar (and bass) We Got the Beat I'd agree is a 3/10 on both guitar and bass, not super bad once you get that scale up to speed. :)

Little by little got understood as it to play, where would be fingers and beat. But not enough speed for nailed this, need practice and practice :)

Tiny Improvement & Better Streak, but i X'ed out in the solo, not fast enough on it, will try again tomorrow!

I think i could get a reasonable MasterMode score in the Rhythm section. Need to try that.

Another removed DD and some increase in score. But I'm a bit ashamed that i got 2 strikes on easy. :blush:

A quick googling tells me that the main day for Christmas gifts in Italy is January 6.  Here in Sweden we do it on December 24. B)

No way it's December 24th but I won't wait, I think I'm just getting it from Amazon...like now :)
