i want a tuner for xmas

 

what i want is a tuner that will tell me  what pitch i am in 

 

what i need is concert pitch is 440 but some acdc stuff is 428 etc as a lot of cdlc dont have the right pitch but it makes you tune to the cdlc pitch - then i can use the tuner once i have paused the song

 

i hope this is clear enough

All (decent) tuner should indicate the pitch and allow you to select in what pitch you want to be tuned.

A snark will work well, and be all of like £20.

Got a smartphone?

 

I have a Snark but find myself using my (android) smartphone with a (free) program called 'Smart Chords'

It's got a lot more than just a tuner too (scales, metronome etc) and doesn't have any ad's that I can see..

I'm using my own made Solution "the old crap one" was just a paper pined on the pick screw (on the top right), i wanted something Cleaner & reusable, i've brainstorm a while & created this one:

The upper one indicates the main tuning the 2nd the dropped (in this case B drop A)

The 2 discs are independant of the tone & volume knobs.

I use the snark, and love it.
