I deleted a bunch of doubles from my dlc folder and I removed my Killers dlc.

I had the cdlc leftover from before it was official.

Now I don't now how to get it back.

Try a right click on Rocksmith in Steam, go to propeties, there to dlc and check if all the dlc's you've got are checked. If yes, uncheck all, wait for steam until it finishes loading (it syncronices Rocksmith) and then check all again, wait until the download is finished, start the game and the dlc's should be back.

If not, try a right click on Rocksmith in Steam, go to propeties, then to local files and there you click verify integrity of game cache - it look for deleted files, maybe the dlc's will be downloaded then.

If there are grammar or word mistakes, I'm sorry!

Pommes309 is right on target. I would just go ahead and do the verify local files thing. That's how I got some back.

I'm facing an oddity right now: some of my official DLC (i.e. bought from Steam) doesn't show up as files in the appropriate folder any longer,  but it is still playable in the game.  Is that normal?  Did something change in the way the game handles official DLC?

@@armoury nothing change, all DLC should be in your DLC folder and that's where steam put them once they are downloaded. Note that if they ends up in a subfolder of the DLC folder, RS will still see them as it scan any subfolder too but this might end up creating issue if for whatever reason steam redownload them and put them in the DLC folder while they still are in a subfolder.

I think he is saying he wants the unofficial cDLC back but since the DlC is now official there is no link. If it is just this one, consider the few dollars to purchase the new one.
