I'd like to aim to that as well with FTLOG but I think I can't manage to do that, Sometimes it doesn't detect the notes I'm playing, I don't know why.

 

Can you tell me which sections the notes aren't registering?

Until now, nobody else had that problem (or at least nobody told me), the custom was made in April, so it's been out for several months, but it might be just because the song is too difficult and most players didn't notice the notes not registering (like me :P).

If you can be more specific about which notes don't register, I can take a look in EoF and see if there's anything wrong.

As some of you might have noticed, I haven't posted any screenshots this week.

The reason is called Ibanez S-520WK :D

After more than 6 months of waiting, I finally was able to order the guitar last week and I received it yesterday.

I've never played with a guitar that had a floyd rose bridge and I received lots of tips and advices of what I should do when I received it.

The entire setup took around 2h, but in the end, all strings were in perfect tuning, I can use the whammy how much I want and the strings never go out of tune.

I'm more than happy with the guitar, it plays awesome and the floyd rose, well, AMAZING :lol:

 

So, I've been playing a lot of songs that I always wanted to try with a floyd, but today I will make the 1st runs of the songs and post some screenshots later.

Welp, pick your string gauge and keep it on your ibanez, because floyd roses are fun like that :)

 

I like being able to pull the bar for bends though, its very nice

 

Also when you first play it, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune, tune and tune the guitar until that rose is broken in, I played a gig when i first got the dean and well...i had tuning problems :)

i have the same feeling as @@Neilpeart2112 .

Especially the slides are confusing to me... lots of misses on them in FTLOG.. but oh well, it IS a hard song

And I'm back at top 200 in Dux Redux! It took me around 10 months to beat my previous record (though I didn't tried much). Phew, it just clicked today.

I also gave a try to Castle Chordead. That was nice nostalgia trip, as this F5 were going smoothly, and I remember year ago that my fingers didn't wanted to strech so far :D

This is my first time posting here so I'm having a few problems :angry:

 

I managed to score 480,562 points butdidnt "printedscreened" it :angry:

Well I'm 100% sure that most of the notes I dont miss however it always shows tons of misses :mellow: As I dont have the real tone cable, I'm using the normal plug with an adapter..might that be the problem? :mellow:

It can be from the bad signal you get without the realtone cable.  But more likely its from pressing to hard, soft or bending the strings.  I did that all the time when i started, and i still do it if don't focus.

Well maybe can be bad signal <_< I notice in some musics that the guitar makes lots of noise..specially with distorion effects.. I know the real tone cable is a must for rocksmith but it's hard to get one here and its kind of expensive for me at the moment :(

 

Yeah I'm kind of still starting on guitar so sometimes I do press a bit harder..maybe can be that too :/ well I'll keep trying and trying and do my best to improve ahahah :P

Hey there, sorry for being late but I just came back home.

It was just a feeling but it could have been me that sucks as hell ;)

I'll try that again in a few minutes and let you know, I think the tab is very well done so it could be me that can't play it properly or the guitar that wasn't tuned perfectly. :)

Small improvements.

I had the same problem today...

I took another guitar with probably better strings and pick up and then it works a lot better. Especially on this ramones song.

@@Kaijin, I can't tell you what was the problem, I just see that some sustained standard notes cannot be detected but again it's my fault for sure, about my skills or strings, I don't think there's any Issue on your tab. :)

Maybe its just me but the first slides i always consistently miss(The second main riff)

Also the last note on 19 i never consistently hit

The last WTFBBQ section(before the sweeps) seems to be missing some notes

 

 

Other than that, the song just hates my ability to play

My guitar (Hagstrom Ultra Swede) takes low tunings pretty well. No settle in time or anything when I loosen my strings for brutal, I just tune and go. Versatile little bugger!

 

I like Devin Townsend's Ziltoid album, but never quite listened to the second. I had a little sticky icky and a bold tea, and then this second try happened on Deathray:
