This is kinda of stupid question but It's worth a try... I owned Rs 2012 on xbox 360 (Still do)

I have switched to pc for obvious reasons, cdlc and all of that.

Can I just buy the import tool or whatever it is and get all the 2012 songs ?

Does the cost of the tool cover everything or do I have to buy RS 2012 on steam and then buy the tool ?

Obviously I don't ant to buy another copy if I already own it.Other than the gigs and the concerts in arenas, there's nothing that make's me want to RS 2012.

I want to be very clear and say I'm not asking if I can pirate the dlc.

When I used to play Rockband the import tool wasn't free but it did allow me to import the songs once I payed the $10 for Rockband 2 and the $5 for Rockband 1.

Hi think you will find you will need to buy rs1 on steam then the import tool, obviously because pc&xbox are 2 different platforms.

Hope this helps :)
