I want a chord to slide down then back up the neck legato style, say an E (frets 799) slides to a D (frets 577) and back to the E, all with a single first strum of the E.   I have no idea how to do this in EoF.  I imported from GP but that didn't work.  I assume I have to linknext the first two chords but how do I set the end fret of the slides?  The end fret is going to be different for the A and D,G strings.

You are right about the first 2 chords needing to be linknext status.  End fret is gonna be the root of the power chord.

 

Click the first E chord - press Ctrl+Down - make the end fret 5

Click the second chord (D) - press Ctrl+UP - make the end fret 7

Why can't Dell have customer service like this?  These forums are fantastically helpful.  I don't think I've had to wait more than an hour for the precise answer to any of my questions.  (I see you took two hours to reply, Rockfirstlast.  Damn you!)  And the first replies are always spot on. 

 

There really is no reason for subpar CDLCs with the help that's available.
