AiC is awesome, but this ones wierd to play without any effect pedals and stuff, i used my whammy bar guitar but im not that good with it

 

Royal Blood - Little Monster

didn't know that band but i absolutely loved that song. to be honest... i bought their album like 15 minutes after that playthrough ;D

 

Metallica - Trapped Under Ice

well good old metallica, fast and dirty. my fingers will hate me, but today will be a long practice day as it seems.

Had a hell of time getting that bend to register, so about halfway through I  started treating it as a HOPO from 3 to 4 (cheating).  At least that would register...

 

Adv Bass-

MC Bass-

Not great detection here also.  I need to tune into Drop C and let my bass settle out a bit and try again.

 

 

Good mix of songs this week -- all fun, and all different tunings!  I think I'll focus on MC (tune my 4 down for the whole week or possibly see how easily it would transcribe into B standard on my 5) and leave my 5 in BEADG to play Metallica.

Now...

I found out that in Junge rhythm path also containing 2 errors, when the first refrain starts there were 2 chords which are harmonix, but they're just chords.... I'll fix this now

 

ok, now everything should be fine in version 1.3.1

tested the new version. This path is also well, but not easy to play without practicing because there is lot of string skipping

This week we have no beginner rhythm song. I suggest here the bonus rhythm track of Junge, just chords with rhythm strumming.

The chords are G, A, Bm, B9, D, Em, most open chords. That's what the western guitar plays. I know that I gave this a difficulty of 5, but compared with the normal rhythm path wich I gave a 7 it's much easier, more 3 or 4, a touhgt beginner or easy intermediate I would say.

 My entry is invalid I know but won't be practicing it this week anyway. Junge is a great song though but I bet it's more fun on guitar :) a 2.

 

No intermediate entry yet as I'm going to see if Rocksmith has a better chance of recognising my other bass but the 9v's need charging first before I give it a go. NO RECOGNITION what-so-ever on my jazz bass. Corrected my intonation but still having some volume issues despite being cranked up to top DB's in audio... volume's still too low apparently.

Trapped Under Ice is my all time favourite 'Tallica track off RtL and it was f'king fun to play it :) There will be a few more plays of this one I reckon but the MC will be priority this week, a noony rating of 7.

Well, what can I say... started out o.k. then... err...what? what fret? what string? *screen* *fretboard* screen* *fretboard* my head was up and down like a fiddler's elbow. The song's amazing. I want to nail it, the fretwork was a surprise, I was expecting it to be much simpler but shit get's real further into the track. Personally this track is going to kill me or make me awesome :) I'm hoping for the latter... a Noony rating of 9... but that's likely to go down once I've played it more than once and riff repeated it 'til it's hanging in tatters :)

so this week I will only play the MC song since the others are in different tuning and I am too lazy to retune all my guitars lol.

The probably final version of Junge. In rhythm path I added now arpeggios (shown as full chords now with chord symbols) and fixed one more strange note in lead.

My 4 string is settling into Drop C for the MC song nicely, much better detection after letting it sit for a while and then re-tuning:

 

 

Still having trouble getting the bends in the outro to register.  Are they really fast bend and return, or pre-bends, or what?  Can't figure out what I'm supposed to be trying for at full speed, maybe I should RR that section on slowdown and see if I can figure it out.

From Riff Repeater, it seems like it is charted as a very fast full-step bend, quickly followed by playing the root note (5th fret of low C string).  Even at 50% speed I can only get it to register about 1 out of every 5-6 attempts, and that is with cheating the bend as a hammer-on.  Seems to me like it might register better if that bend plus follow up note could be charted as a single bend-sustain-release...  But maybe I'm just doing it wrong.  Anybody else have trouble there?

@@MilkmanDan It usually bends, play note, then bend (not early), and next note , all  only very fast :) At least 50% i can play it correct, issue only in suitable speed, rare not full bends. Best run outro was 1 miss bends.  Try exercise for bends in RS, there same technic.
