@ -- New update threw me for a loop briefly.  Try 1 I got a 96% or something, so 2nd try I did RR of the whole song at 85% and re-learned it.  The "interlude" part is definitely better/correct, as is the opening slide.  There's a note that I'm consistently missing just after that opening slide though -- it seems like you have it charted late but it could be that I'm just jumping the gun because I'm used to the other version.  I'll try to figure that out.  The part that I'd call the main riff is hard for me to tell whether all the variations you have are 100% correct, but I can tell that there are at least SOME variations there that are all just charted as an identical riff in the other version.

 

Feels like it makes the song slightly harder, but that could just be me trying to overcome muscle memory.

I think I've got a 100% in me still, on try 4 I think it was just 1 miss there in the opening section where the timing is weird for me.

@@MilkmanDan I think you are right that it's slightly late. I will fix this that evrey note is exactly on the beat and not early or late, but at first I have to check the guitars if it's the same there. And I watch out if any notes are missing. I just wrote down what I heard.

fixed, but now especially in lead any blocks dissapeared. In Bass 2 or 3 blocks are gone and in rhythm it's ok. Probably the RR doesn't work proper at this blocks  :(

Let's see if I find a solution for that this evening.

I played through several more times with your first release, and I like all of the changes from the original file.  Playing through riff repeater at slow speed I did find a few places with semi-off sync, with the main one being the beginning just after the slide -- but I bet your revision has taken care of all of those.

 

The outro/interlude part is MUCH better than the original file, very hoppin' now and the notes all sound to be charted and synced perfectly to me.

 

The variations on the main riff are fun, although I don't trust my ear enough to confirm/deny that they are all exactly true to the bass in the recording.  I'm sure your ear is better than mine so I trust your judgement there, and I can definitely say that all of the variations are sensible improvisations on the basic riff and nothing jumps out at me as sounding wrong.  So, it is probably all good!

 

Looking forward to trying after the re-sync and when you get the blocks/sections issue resolved -- thanks much for handling the revisions, it is much appreciated!  I'm sure me and @ and all others will enjoy challenging on your altered version!  :D

Pretty shaky, I wouldn't have had a great score if it had been in Score Attack, but I did manage the 100%.  Should be easier with re-sync.

Wasn't easy to get a valid screenshot from lead IM, and no way I can play SA hard without getting XXX.

Beginner Bass - 97.38%, 286 streak

I didn't tuned well. Tomorrow will try again. And I can give @@NoonyDeloony a point. It can be 6, as there is many fast changes of hand position.

 

Intermediate Rhythm - 90.48%, 43 streak

No strikes! I'm getiin' better :)

 

Advanced Bass - 98.15%, 237 streak

 

MasterClass Lead - 87%, 129 streak

I have one idea. All know, practice with metronome very tedious. And at the same time personally i have issue with timing, that good see (ear) at my video playthrough, i play often early then need. Yet i found that many cdlc (or RS) promote to play notes early for getting rate "perfect" in SC. 

So i did one cdlc (until for bass guitar), for drill rhythm. This first cdlc very simple: there drums as metronome, and need play only one note at open string A in beat. Goal there get max score in Score Attack (in leaderboard, for the time being). In the same time it allowed test your lags and tune for good performance the game. 

So in this cdlc i moved beat with notes little late then real drums, so if  exactly play in beat by ear, can be get rate "perfect" in SC. Of course there need testing others for sure.

And if anyone interesting in practice with funny metronome in mode "challenge", I`ll do more exercise drill with more complicated patterns. And we will can do extra topic for this practice.

I've tried BEG song and I think it's like a 7 and more difficult than INT, because is all upbeat tempo rhythm and INT has a more simple rhythm. INT is like a 6 and ADV an 8. :)
 

@@lordlk There more insane speed shifting chords, so not agree :)

p.s. I updated folder with Drill cdlc, now there is  simple 4 versions exercise for training (and challenge in leaderboard) perfect rhythm.   :)

pp.s number 8800 well then types patterns where 0 - no notes, 8 is note duration 1/8, in future 4  -1/4, 7 - 16, 5 - 32.

For me the MC song really is a million lightyears easier than the adv one.   But that might just prove i suck at chords.

@ agree to disagree! ;) INT it's speedy but when I played BEG my hand started to hurt because of those chords. At least I was doing then like full bar...

And yet i`m sure, there was notes at 2 string 4 and 7 frets, i hear and see it spectrogram in transcribe, in your chart  they nope.  Probably for that I can not beat you  :D  Now look like lead guitar path.

And bass tone very loud.

After resync this song the Riff Repeater wouldn't work or only a few sections. Many sections, shown as blocks in the game just disapeared and for some arrangements RR was impossible. I reset all sections in eof again, created new, bad result, removed DD, not really better, and created DD, ok, really not perfect but much better:  on rhytm the RR works now very good here; bass ok, only 2 or 3 Sections are missing an DD is only 2 here, but you can play and practise all sections here; lead bad, here are lots of sections missing and not all sections can be plaid here, but I think it was 1 or maybe 2 that can't be plaid, but not so important because it's a repeat.

For now I release this version with the described issues, a decreased bass tone Motive, thanks  :) ,and much better sync. In SA there are now many perfects for playing straight on the beats. More research would take too much time now.

I leave the old version 1.0 there till everything works proberly in v1.1

Score Attack score... hardly any time for practice this week so strictly sticking to playing the Advanced track. I have listened to the other tracks and do like them very much so but with so little time to spare sadly, just the one choon for me :(

the notes I wrote are just the notes that are played in the audio. If you just listen to the song, piece by piece you will hear them, if not slow down and concentrate. Shure it's not 100% but good tight.
