Thanks for the leaderboard, great idea!

One question though: Some people are ranked in more than one difficulty, shouldn't they only be ranked in the highest one? :-)

Well i spent a lot of thinking in the multiple entries/ upgraders thing...

 

In the end i decided to keep it as simple as possible.

10 weeks, all valid places 1-4 scored(10/5/3/1 pts).

 

So you can score points in the next class before upgrading, when you leave a class to the next your points still count, and vanish slowly over the next 10 weeks.

I think it is fair that way and for me the weekly updates are doable without further calculations in about an hour.

@@Mortalo I started rebuild custom. Soon made good for my :) There yet bad was sync and bad tone for rhythm. bass yet not tested.

Played this track 4 or 5 times a while ago. Nice warm up song. though, No way I got 100% though. I completely missed hitting the 17th fret on the a string and it even flagged up as a miss, so no idea what's happening there... ghosts in the machine! Some more shizzle tomorrow. Tiemz for some AoS and The Flash.

1 Moved notes  in one phrase of lead to other strings. Now it  enough easy to play.

2. Add auto tone switch for lead and rhythm path.

3. Added and tuned tones and volumes

Thanks @ for fixing up Soul Meets Body -- I suggested it without ever trying the guitar parts.  Sorry -- hope it wasn't too much work to fix up!

 

Got a first try for all on bass.  I'll post difficulty rating thoughts later:

 

Beg Bass:

Another rare 1st try 100%.  I'd peg this and Soul Meets Body as roughly the same difficulty -- this might be a little harder, but that could just be because I had never seen this before but have played Soul Meets Body many times.

 

Int Bass:

Probably had 10+ plays of this on my old profile, so the 3 is inaccurate.  Nice score on it @@NoonyDeloony !

 

Adv Bass:

I know this doesn't count -- I got interrupted when the score came up and didn't get a screenshot in time.  But, 1st try was 98%.  I'll try for higher in SA and get a proper screenshot.

 

MC Bass:

Gonna need some riff repeater to be a little less like a monkey with a typewriter trying to produce Shakespeare in the middle of the song there...  But, kinda a fun song -- should be fun to see how much I can improve.

Still a little more to go......just need a little forgiveness with note recognition on some of the chords.

Hello everyone.

 

I assume most of you don't know me, but for those who do, I finally have some more time in RL and can start playing in the CS again. :)

 

For those who don't know who I am, a long time ago I was the championship "manager" back in Smithy Anvil.

When the site went "down" and CustomsForge "replaced" Smithy's, at first I was invited to organize this CS, which I accepted, but after a few weeks, due to RL problems, I had to step down and let others "in charge" and what an amazing job you have done, congratulations. :D

 

I spent yesterday trying to keep up with the changes on the CS, my god, you guys have done a lot of work and this is an amazing championship format.... 4 classes, rating points, different classes on the arrangements of the same song according to the difficulty, really impressive.

 

I don't know where I should "start" when it comes to what classes to play, so if you guys don't mind, I'll just play all arrangements from the 4 songs and you'll let me know where I "fit" in.... for those who know me, I suck playing chords and I manage ok with single note arrangements, depending on the speed of the song.

 

I always play the 1st runs in LAS and after that I play always in SA.

It's very nice to read your post @@Mortalo, I'm glad that you liked what we did back then and congrats again to all Organizers.

The rules are simple like you said, I just put myself in the Organizers "shoes" when I was reading them and I thought "Wow, that's an impressive job, but a lot of work too".... old habits die hard, right? :P

 

I'll be posting more scores later, the songs are very cool, I like particularly the MC song, it's crazy in a good way and very fun to play.
