i didnt download the one from the link cos i already had it, mustve been an old one or someone elses chart

really threw me how much harder the positions in the version are, except for the solo i found that bit easier.

Another increase in californication and i finally managed to play it in score attack.

Played wargasm 3 times in a row and got all sweaty. Damn its fast. But i got a bit higher %

I got to say that i found myself a bit busy this week so i ended up not playing masterclass song at all. All that matters is that i got Advanced song done , here's the result:

Pretty rrrubbish week for me overall. Been ill all over my birthday, songs were all tunes I enjoyed but could not get the rhythm right by any stretch of the imagination and my intonation on my jazz bass is so off I can't hear it and my cirrus' 9vs are on charge so won't be able to play for another 12 hours. Poo week overall so going to spend some money on much needed new clothes... Though I will probably come home with a guitar. Props to everyone in bass category, this week was pretty tough imo :)

What do you mean? there's clearly a big 86.9 in the screenshot.

@@Dennis430 Yup, but that's mastery. It's not exactly same as accuracy. Well as you noticed I put that score in leaderboard, but made it clear that it's not pure accuracy but mastery. Still with score like that you can win the week, but anybody who would post screen with accuracy, would be above you.

It has to be accuracy, because the "mastery" rating can include a boost from playing parts in Master Mode, or penalties for playing at lower than full difficulty.

 

I hate master mode, because when I scroll through my song list I want to see the "mastery" score as being equivalent to my personal best accuracy on the song.  Mainly, I want to know that any song with a 100% mastery can *only* be that way because I have played it at least once with perfect accuracy.  So, I turn off Master Mode in the options.

 

But, in my original profile I didn't know about that, so I had a big list of songs displaying 100% (or higher) mastery, on up to Black Magic (bass) at 110% Mastery.  I think 110% is the maximum, for playing the song at 100% accuracy entirely in Master Mode with none of the notes being displayed.  So, when my profile got corrupted a few months ago I saw it as a good opportunity to start fresh with Master Mode turned OFF, so I know that for everything in my new profile, Mastery = Accuracy.

 

But anyway, that is the reason for the rule about how our screenshots must show *accuracy* with all sections at max difficulty; otherwise someone could potentially be using master mode on some easier sections to compensate for lower accuracy in tough sections.
