Just tried loading a cdlc. I watched the video on utube on how to do it, and bought the Smashing Pumkins song.  Also, do you have to buy a song for every cdlc you want to load? Or, do you just need a DLC?

You just need one official DLC.  Did you put the DLL file in the correct place?

I was watching that video as I did it. Although, I am not sure if I did put in the right folder. I'll double check. I was having some trouble finding all the files. The CDLC's I loaded show up in the game, just don't play.

I had that same problem because I had a bad version of D3Dx9_42.Dll installed.  Make sure you have that file and it's in the rocksmith folder, if it is there already, try downloading it again from a different source.  I found a link in the forums, but idk exactly where.
