Game is not starting anymore since yesterday...

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have been running my PC version of Rocksmith with custom songs since a few months already, but since yesterday my game is not starting anymore. I see the debug window opening, and then i see the message "Patch verify_signature success!" but I cannot enter the game.

I tried to de-install and then re-install, patching the game again and also using this alternative exe patch as explain in the tutorial page, but still, my game wont start.

I did nothing special between my last utilisation and yesterday, except adding a few extra custom songs...

Does it even happen to anyone ? have any solution for me ?

thanks in advance

Ive had this happen before....go down to the task bar at the bottom of your screen... hover over it and you will see another window appear...click on it and it should open up to rocksmith again...give this a try and see if it works for you

still no success at present time... Any advice welcome guys..

Im desperate, its sunday and I cant play...

this is why I recom. doing backups at least one time per week (all partitions), it is fast backup if you select option "Incremental backup" just to add only files changed from last backup

this way you can go back to previous state - when everything worked ok.

btw: if you reinstalled RS2014 and there is still the problem it may be something with the system (Windows 7 or whatever you use), maybe sound/graphic settings/drivers in the system

(try to remove all customs too and run again, but I guess you did it already)

ok guys I found the solution...

Its my stupid anti virus which had a "gaming mode"... It was somehow blocking the game. After just switching it off in the parameters of the anti virus everything went back to normal...

Thanks to all of you anyway for trying to help.

cheers
