I agree.. a friend of mine (female) asked me a little while ago: "why do you have so many guitars? you can only play one at a time".. after my question "how many pairs of shoes do you have..??" there

I have three at the moment.

2 Electric guitars:

1 Fender Stratocaster - which I play with daily on Rocksmith

1 Cheap Squire Bullet Strat - which I use to practice only, to improve my technique

1 Acoustic guitar:

A 40 years old guitar which I got from my uncle (produced in Romania) and which has an amazing sound due to the age of the wood

When I'll feel that my talent deserve more I'll buy another one to add to my collection

Cheers everyone

I've been playing for like... 10 years now, maybe more. i have 6 Guitars.

- 2 Stage Guitars
Fender Telecaster 64 vintage blondie

Fender telecaster 72 deluxe

- 2 in my studio

Gibson Les paul studio

Epiphone Black beauty

- 2 in my room (hehe)

Fender Telecaster 64 vintage blondie (yep, love those so much!)

epiphone sg standard

Have a Squier Modified Jaguar SS bass, and an Ibanez GAX30. Both entry level but fine for my needs until my playing gets better. I suspect that when I can blow my wife away with a Crowded House number, I may get her agreement to trade up hehe.

Mind you, if guitars here in Aus were as cheap as they are in the States, I'd have a Gibson Les Paul already. I scour the Guitar Center website like a kid stares at the department store grotto at Christmas. One day.....one day......

I have 9 total been playing off and on for 16 years. But only seriously since the original rocksmith came out.

I hear my collection may be growing at xmas time... sshh she doesn't know I know!!

I eventally want to catch up to my old man he currently has 20 I believe.

My girls.

ibanez rg 650

Schecter hellraiser c-7

ibanez iceman

** update

2000 fender stratocaster American fat strat

I have just one electrical, one classical and one bass. I think guitars are meant to be played and it's a sin to keep them just collecting dust.

I mean, have as many as you like as long as you play them too, right? :p

I used to have two electrics, one for standard tuning and one for all the others, but then the second guitar got way too little loving attention so I sold it.

:D

I had many guitars... First electric was Fokus Stratocaster H-S-H. After it Fokus Les Paul Custom. Last one was Gibson Explorer Faded. Now I have only Gibson SG Standard 2011 and acoustic Cort Earth 70 - 12 strings.

Four electrics guitars (two for E, one for C#/C, one for B/A#), two electrics basses (one for C#, one five string for B/E), and three acoustics.

4 Electric Guitars, 1 Acoustic Guitar, 2 Electric Basses. I am hoping this is the end of it all. I have purchased and sold in the past way too many.

  • 1 month later...

All together, almost 2 years of playing and I collected 6 guitars, 1 bass, 3 amps. My biggest mistake was with amps, I think I cycled through 10 amps before settling on my primary.... That was some costly bad moves. But I never mad a mistake on guitars, really like each one.

Here is my current gear:
Gibson 120th anniversary Les Paul Studio Pro in Fireburst Candy
Fender American Deluxe HSS Strat in Blackout

Ibanez S670 in Flame Red

Takamine P4DC Acoustic in Matte Natural
Taylor GS Mini Acoustic in Quilted Sapele

Fender Squire Strat My $99 first guitar!
Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass in Sunburst
Mesa Boogie Express 5:25+ in Cream & Black (primary Amp)
VHT Special 6 (practice/travel amp)

A few other small practice amps

I have 3 guitar, 1x electric, 1x electric bass, 1x Acoustic, and a acoustic/electric. I have about 1.5 to 2 years playing on and off rocksmith and rocksmith 2014. Not as advance as others in here but I get to still have fun. XD

Games: Rocksmith, Rocksmith 2014 | New Instrument: Takamine G Series EG444C-VV Acoustic/Electric, | Other Instruments: Ibanez Bass Gio Gsr200, Ibanez Gio GRG 170XD Electric Guitar, Alvarez Acoustic Guitar, Cello, Samick SGP 151G Digital Baby Grand Piano, Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88| Alesis Nitro Drum Set | Equipments: Scarlett Studio (MC25 Condence Mic, Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface) JBL LSR 305 Studio Monitor,  Splash Shield, M-Audio AV30, Klipsch THX, Shure State Mic, | Softwares: Cubase 9 LE, Pro Logic X, SONAR X3, FL Studio 20.

I have 4. Been playing about 20 months.

My first was a Squire Strat that my wife bought me for Christmas as a surprise.

I bought  myself a 2013 Fender American Deluxe Strat that has hardly any use.

I was given a Ibanez copy from a friend.

Last summer I bought myself an Epiphone Les Paul 60's Tribute+. It is my current everyday guitar.

Epi Les Paul 60's is great its my everyday all day go to as well( and i have 5 so far in the two year i have been playin)

I have 7 Guitars:

two 6 String acoustics.

One 12 String acoustic.

Four 6 String Electrics.

it won't let me upload pictures, and i'm too lazy to find a find a photosharing site. and upload it there, then copy each of the urls over here. no thanks!

But one of my guitars is shaped like the Queensryche Tri-Ryche logo. and even signed by the band. it's rad.

I have a 82 strat squier which I stripped and painted a tinted green nitro cellulose with enhanced grain. Love the way it turned out.

The other is a 94 Les Paul Epiphone model.
