I like challenging songs, but not metal. More rock/jazz/blues, but I would like to learn other things. I like Santana's clean stuff, ZZ Top/Lynyrd's rhythm and solo, and Eric Johnson's solos.

I haven't played about 3-400 CDLC, so I'm sure there's lots I haven't tried.

 

Honestly, I'm at the point where every solo looks the same (and easy) and same with rhythm. I think I just need to try a new genre.

have you tried anything from dire straits? (sultans of swing, tunnel of love, money for nothing ..)

oh, because i just looked into them: stone temple pilots' "plush" and "interstate love song" might be interesting to you?

doubt It will end up as CDLC but I aim to play this one day.

 

Love Psalm from Akira Yamaoka. Solos are quite challenging, otherwise really fun song to play!
