I have a little question for MasterClass competitors:

Would you be interested in playing very long song (about 20min)? Then, would you like to make it last for 2 weeks? 20 min is more or less twice as normal song, so I figured that you would need more time, to at least try to learn it properly. Answer below (you can wait until you post your scores).

Not gonna have much time this week, but I got around to trying MC bass anyway:

 

No RR or slowdown, and getting used to Red = B string on a 5 throws me off a bit.  That being said, in spite of the low score I like the song quite a bit, so I will have to put in some time to improving.  Hope with some RR time and slowdown I'll get a more respectable accuracy -- and it is nice to have a good song that makes full use of my 5-string even if I don't get time to really work on it much this week.

I should try @ 's edit.  Brain fart made me miss the 100%.

 

I had a semi-recent profile crash that corrupted all my save data.  Learned my lesson and am now backing it up.  Anyway, on the old profile I had a 100% on this but after 3 tries on my 4 string with 1 or 2 missed notes due to poor detection, I tried on my 5 and got the above.  Score/timing could be better, but got the 100% accuracy that I was looking for anyway.

Very happy with myself, I'm really sloppy at the bit where it goes A string -> Double stop E & B -> A + Double stop E & B. Wish I could get that down but I don't think it's going to happen. I guess I'll be intermediate next week! I think I'll be playing Black Sheep for a long time though, really fun to play.

EDIT: Also I can't bloody believe it, done my first master difficulty run, got 93.5% and my computer crashed while calculating the score! WHY U DO THIS?!

@@storm20200 That's tricky part. My mind blew away when I saw it 1st time :P I'm playing it like a barre chord, muting not needed strings, though most times it's 2nd and 3rd strings that give sound instead of 1st and 2nd.

Well i won't be able to do better cause tonigh i go to a metal festival but well i'm satisfied with those scores compared to the number of time i've tried.

If I had more time I could improve it even more. It pisses me off, how idiotic mistakes I make sometimes. 

Very often I panic after the 'solo' and fuck up tons of tone, which I could easily played.

 

It would need more time in riff repeater.

It's ok if you don't want to, but I'll tell ya that I'm happier when I see new songs added to the list :) If you don't see your name, feel free to add it, along with your selections. Mine are good to go, though my masterclass pick may be on the easier side. Looking at the intermediate songs I'm feeling scared and nervous, it looks like a big challenge, hope I can keep up. At least there's always beginner Rhythm when I need a breather.
