I have a little question for MasterClass competitors:

Would you be interested in playing very long song (about 20min)? Then, would you like to make it last for 2 weeks? 20 min is more or less twice as normal song, so I figured that you would need more time, to at least try to learn it properly. Answer below (you can wait until you post your scores).

I have a question: since beginner song don't have rhyt, do I play the lead? Because I've leveled up on lead...

@@lordlk For win, you must to play Soad lead. So Rhythm beginner NA, there not winner for this week (it will not marked as miss week for beginner), you can to play what you want, for fun and challenge in another class.

Been mucking about with another song all week nothing to do with the championship, but, I'm addicted to the tune and my brain is forcing me to perfect it instead of focusing on the competition :) Mean song!

Perhaps no more SOAD plays, because of the tunning, but one knows...

@@Rodman You need train Bass in mode score attack, with simple a song like is  Metric, and try get a lot "perfect". That like train with metronome, only more fun.  Unfortunately emulated bass not very suitable for it, big latency.

There my first try MC guitar. Very like  the song, and i enjoy sound in D standard, audible awesome. Only leveled down the volume guitar in mixer, was very loud my guitar. Set at 84%.

Later will post improve score rhythm (i hope :) )

Not intending to get a bass pro, though maybe i´ll grab an old bass from my brother ..... let´s see... 

How good ever emulated bass may be, by all means it sounds damn mighty B)

@@Rodman Real bass sounds real mighty, you too feel vibrations 4th string through your body, esspecialy if to add good volume on speaker it sounds very awesome. (if enough has eat, may even start seasickness :) ) Emulated bass does not give anything like this feelings.

@Motive: lol - now i have definately no choice than grab an dedicated bass from my brother ( i hope he has got one left) .... man, you guys really know how to make my day ;),

EDIT: A question for people, can we enter bass if we play emulated bass? Or is there just not much point.

@@storm20200 I thinking emulated bass suitable for fun and for reference. But enough helpless for learning bass play. (it only my view)

@ I could definitely see it improving a persons rhythm, I done Black Sheep on emulated bass and although I got 99% I felt like I had to be much for consistent. That Black Sheep was a really nice pick though, the "sort of solo" section is great for working on consistent alternate strumming. It also feels really rewarding to play well, more so than some other songs.

@@storm20200 Alternate picking? Down all the way :D

@@Mortalo I don't understand how someone could only down strum. It literally boggles my mind to think how some people can cope only down strumming. I strive to be ambipixtrous cause the stuff I want to be able to play one day requires it! One of the downsides to being a progressive rock and metal fan is that I instantly dream of playing hard songs  :(

@@storm20200 And where is the fun alternate picking Disposable Heroes? Haha, I'm personally down strumming on Black Sheep and if I can go with no problems down strumming, I'm doing it that way.

Surprisingly, I find it easier to alternate picking on my bass.

 

@@Tonedef You've put wrong link for MC bass score, though I was able to find your score in your profile.

@@Mortalo I think if you're gonna intentionally make it harder for yourself why not up strum everything? :P

@ tried your Black sheep bass arrangement. It is more fun and more difficult than the first one. Great job thank you.
