  1. Happy Birthday Izzy2014!

  2. Happy Birthday Izzy2014!

  3. Alright snake, I'll be sure to update you when I start on the songs. Should I give you the forum link when it's completed or when the first arrangement is done?
  4. Hmm. I suppose I could add bonus arrangements for certain parts. But... then again I am pretty lazy when it comes to adding anything extra :/ I guess only time will tell then.
  5. So I'm working on a project that involves a solo with two guitarists harmonizing with each other. However, there are three guitars in the solo. Two guitarists harmonizing with each other, and the third guitarist providing the rhythm. Should I combine the two guitarists into one and just use an octave pedal to create an artificial harmony, or have the second solo guitarist in rhythm? From what I understand, people stick to rhythm when they want to only play "easier" parts of the song, whereas the lead guitarist prefers to do the "harder" parts. What are your thoughts?
  6. Mind if I get in on some of the action, fellas? I'd love to do the Memory Remains, as well as One. Save these two for me. (Rest assured, I guarantee high quality customs. Or I'll eat my shoe.)
  7. @ The problem with simply asking the original charter is that there's always that one charter that creates a decent chart that has a whole lot of potential and then all of a sudden... they become incredibly inactive. I've noticed that this happened quite frequently in the previous forum and am pretty sure this will definitely happen in this forum as well. But then again, I do agree that I wouldn't enjoy having people's finger in my pie as well. After all, I worked super hard to make it as best as I could. So perhaps there can be a system where if a user becomes inactive in the forum for a long time (not inactive in the sense that they haven't touched their song in a while), clearly inactivity means that they've lost interest in this forum, ergo they've lost interest in charting completely. So after their inactivity period reaches a certain point, their work becomes open source HOWEVER, if they know they will be going inactive for a long period of time, they could ask that their account be frozen (maybe they're moving to a different country, emergencies, etc.) so that their accounts have a much more prolonged inactivity period, or never reaches that inactivity period at all.
  8. I have a few suggestions and ideas that I'd like to share with you guys. First and foremost, I believe the testers should have their own colors if they are willing to devote their own time into testing (Just as the charters are willing to devote time into charting). Perhaps one of these delightful colors will do? http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/582195/Chocolate_Creams (I'm having a major craving for ice cream, which I can't have :( )Testing and charting go hand in hand when it comes to quality, and I feel testing is just as important as charting. I play another game that is entirely community based for a game called "osu!" . They are comprised of members similar to ours (e.g. Developers, charters, donators, etc. ) The way they give incentive on having users leave feedback is by a system they call "kudosu" (or simply, kudos). When someone leaves detailed feedback on someone's chart thread, the creator of said chart could give the user giving feedback "kudos" (which would be about 2 or 3 points in kudos) while other users who feel the feedback is well thought out or definitely important in implementing, other users will also be able to give "kudos" to a user as well. (Only 1 point of kudos, since they themselves are not the creator of the chart). For every post a user posts, they give themselves another chance of getting kudos. But what do we do with these points though, you might be asking? For charters, we can use the "kudos" points we gain to bring our charts closer to the front page so that we can get more feedback. But what about users who don't chart? Well, there should be a thread dedicated to suggestions. Users create their topics explaining what suggestions they want implemented to either the website, or to EOF, to the RS Gui Toolkit, etc. People enjoy getting noticed, and what better way that to reward their time leaving feedback with kudos, so that their ideas or their charted songs become more easily recognized? This may be a bit td;dr but I really hope you guys take this suggestion into consideration, as the kudos gives me much more incentive on leaving feedback to other's charts. As always, rock on guys m/ **Quick edit** Maybe we can use the "thanks" we get as a form of "kudos" points, so it can be an easier task and a smoother transition?
  9. I've made several updates to my currently released CDLCs. Once they have been update, I will continue to create new content. Updating This Calling will be the biggest challenge I face, however.
  10. I'm looking forward to the approval section. I'll be sure to update all of my unfinished CDLCs in hopes to find each one in that section :)
  11. Gotta touch up my previous projects before working on new ones.

  12. Since there will be Heart official DLC being released later, I figured I'd listen to some of their songs in preparation for what's to come. I heard their cover of Stairway to Heaven. My god, I was nearly put to tears.
  13. I'll be sure to check it out when I can. Can't wait to try it :D
  14. Go to calibrate your guitar with Rocksmith. (When you go to "make noise" and mute the strings after). After you finish making noise, and it says to mute the strings, mute them but take your hands off the strings once all the noise is drowned out. That way, when you're idling, your guitar will no long be making idle noise (if you continued to mute the strings with your hand during calibration, you will be making the strings extra sensitive to ambient noise). Not sure how much of a better explanation I give, but I hope this helps out.
  15. I went ahead and submitted it, as well as re-linked the post link to the Customs Forge submitted post. Click on the "Forum Post Link" next to this calling to view the thread and download from there.
