Question

Good Afternoon,

I installed the necessary files into my steam version of rs2014 and it loaded up just fine. Today when I started up the game it said the save file had been corrupted. Although it was a bummer I just chalked it up to computers being computers. Lo and behold the save file repeatedly corrups every time I close the game and start it back up. The only thing difference i've noticed is that when the game starts up a rocksmith command prompt opens up for a second that says "Game has finished loading!"

I would be really grateful for any help! :(

The command prompt is normal behavior. That's is the dx9 file you put in that allows customs to work. Troglodyte is right about you having a bad one. You can delete everything in your dkc folder or just move it out of Rocksmith and put it on your desktop. The only way to figure out which one is bad would be to check the date on the file and delete the recent ones. Which is what I would do. They have a date next to them. I would delete recent ones.

I think that's the best way to do it anyway.  I know it's time consuming, but when you find the one(s) that is bad, you can alert the charter and they can fix it for everyone.  That way nobody else loses their save.

Also, it's a good practice to read all of the comments for each custom before you download and try them.  That way you can help yourself avoid problems in the future.
