Low note recognition question.

Question

The cdlc I made was Curl of the burl by mastodon and for the bass the tuning is AGCF. I've found the article on low note recognition. My question is do I need to apply this rule to all four strings or just the lowest string? Also are there any recommendations as to what the pitch should be changed to for this as well? Will changing it to the 220 pitch work for this?

Changing the pitch affects all of the strings so yes, you will have to take it into account on all strings.

Simply put the trick is to make the tuning an octave higher and then make the pitch an octave lower, 220 hz, so they cancel each other out.

In the case of AGCF the tuning would be 5,10,10,10 with the trick (normally it would be -7,-2,-2,-2 but we go an octave higher for the trick)
