Locked Deleted Track

Just had a track deleted (Iron Maiden - Powerslave) because it got an ANONYMOUS report saying it had volume issues & had 2 extended notes in the solo. Fixed and tested the track & when I was able uploaded it, only to find that the CF Bot had deleted the track. The track had 1,578 downloads. I'm sorry but this isn't going to work. I'm a modest charter with a total download count of 113,642. I have some great tracks that I've charted for myself, and I'm not ever going to upload them. Neither am I going to respond to anonymous reports anymore, so all other reported tracks will be deleted as well. I've made suggestions elsewhere about what is wrong here. We don't get paid. This isn't professional work. A person can anonymously report a track with zero skin in the game. This is frustrating and frankly wrong. Admins put in a ton of work, but charters do as well. So I don't think it's a great policy to discourage people from making tracks, but ultimately this is what's happening. I'm switching to being just a user. Sad, but I feel this is what you guys want - to chase away charters who leave 2 extended notes in a solo. Peace.

The chart could have been restored had you asked about it. As far as the report system, I understand the frustration, but I don't really see the issue of not knowing who reported a chart. If someone wants to be anonymous that's their choice because I'm sure a lot of people don't want the report to become personal and have people harrass them for reporting issues.

It's a shame you feel this way, but I can't stop you. The system is in place to promote quality charts for people to play, not to steer people away from making them. If you've got suggestions for improvements, the best place to put them is the Ignition channel on our Discord.
