From now on ill assign myself to do the first week of the upcomming months just so its more stable / Rodman had already organized his. As I chatted with people on discord seems like some charters would like to know before hand if there charts gets picked/ just incase they find any errors/ would like to update something. So hopefully doing it this way will help them out / better weeks for the participants aswell and also maybe we wont have weeks set up this late on a saturday (here its not even saturday anymore).

Looks like no one from masterclass lead class participated, anyone want to claim the win and be promoted!?
@ jasmith85 leme know where you want to be in bass so that the beginner victory can go to wilyam or you

SO FOR THIS WEEK

we got a neat oldie recomendation by Daz for begginer, has some johnny be goode chords to it

Intermediate we got a cdlc that came out this week that i thought was well done

Advanced - I added rzrshreds recommendation just incase doods might be too hard for adv and so rodman doesnt have to play some more asian music lol jk. its pretty simple except for the solo.

Doods might be an 8 on lead but ill give it the benefit of the doubt and leave it at 7.5 and bonus path. I did put doods as the main bass for masterclass though since personally i found it the most challenging but i might just be tired.

Also, Since @ rosefog is new and won last week i decided to add his recomendation to celebrate! Make sure to leave some more reccomendations (this goes to everyone aswell) as its always more fun to play different types of music. Maybe in the future i could add the song reccomendations of the second player to keep them motivated for the next week? Just an idea.

Master class: dream theater which is actually coincidentally most of the members of liquid tension experiment ( they excluded their singer). Fun simple riff, reminds me of some RED actually . umm yeah thats all i gotta say, seemed like a good chart and there was a drop pitch version for those who dont want to detune that low.

i decided to also try lead/rhythm, ive had my guitar for more than a decade and i can't play songs properly lmao - im a bit below intermediate but i think itll be more practical

ill add a few more songs to song request tomorrow, i know a few cool charts jazzy charts = )

Really tough solo, way too complex for me to sightread first try haha. I'd have to learn the solo if I wanted to get a higher score on this one, but 95.6% is fine for me. I prefer playing the low tuning one so that I can use my own tones while playing.

Sweet - Blockbuster. A little tricky for beginners.

American Hi-Fi - Flavor of the Weak. A little tricky for me I think lead is harder than 4.5.

Dream Theater - Paralyzed. Interesting to play. And hard.

Megadeth - Addicted to Chaos. I remember this one from the week 133. But it was from another charter.

Kessoku Band - If I could be a constellation. Another asian nightmare song. No results here.

Well...As far as I'm aware of, we allow and count Emulated Bass as valid scores just so that everyone can play the paths. It is encouraged for everyone to use a bass if you have one so you can feel the dificulty BUT dont let that discourage you from posting emulated bass scores.

I'll place you in intermediate bass, that way willyam will be the rightfull winner of last week and perhaps that way you feel less guilty of winning a week using emulated bass in the future as itll be more challenging for you.

well that Is difficult,
I just tried to zone out and let the colours and numbers control my mind/fingers.

Not sure what the top advanced rating Is but this song Is it 7 right ??

But then I got 94% and I have had worse scores on easier songs so now not sure.

yep so 3.5, 5.5 and 7.5 technically dont exist/ atleast they werent used before i hosted iirc. I found it odd since the other intervals like 2.5 existed so i use it when im unsure of which class the song should belong in / limbo zone.

3 5 and 7 are technically the highest of beg, int, adv -> aka if you suggest a song 7.5 itll be masterclass on the sheet.

I rated this song .5 less than previous weeks since its shorter and imo/ rosefogs opinion easier. It does look kinda scary but as you saw you can get a decent score on it.
I still have yet to average the last songs but if it comes out higher or lower ill be using that number and subtracting the -.5 to create my rating.
i kinda also want to lower dreamtheaters bass song since the only thing "tecnical" is the riff which is doable and later on it becomes straight singles. so imo its slightly easier to 100% than super bro song but we'll see

I kinda like how you have the pictures set up to be 2 in one row since it takes less space. Do you edit your pictures? or hows it so small? @ Vodka also thanks for playing songs above your class helps me see if i need to change ratings.

I don't edit them. I upload the pictures as is to image sharing service and paste a link here. And then I can double click on the image (or ctrl+right click -> edit image) to see the picture settings. One of them is "size". I set ~50% width and that's it.
