Hi all, I'm really struggling to get EOF to work. I may be stupid

I am trying to make a Lead Guitar CDLC for Kletka by Molchat Doma. I import the downloaded .ogg file into EOF and set the bpm and time signature to what the tab says (130 bpm and 4/4).
I then try and import the .mid MIDI file I paid for. I try and open the .gp file, but it doesn't even show up in the pop-up file explorer for importing Guitar Pro files.

Back to the .mid file, I open the file and get an error "At least one beat marker was inserted due to mid beat tempo or time signatures changes in the imported file. Make sure to clean up the beat map or update time signatures accordingly" and the thing fails to import.

I then look at the bpm in EOF and see it has been set to fucking 304568.53 . Why?? Am I doing something wrong? I got this tab from songsterr, I have no idea why it is doing this and I don't have the software or experience to figure out what is happening. I understand that this is probably quite a detailed error message but it just means nothing to me. I also can't upload the .mid or .gp files here 😞

Anybody know how to help?

.gp is a newer version of Guitar Pro format than EOF supports.  If you have Guitar Pro 7 or 8 you can use it to export that tab to .gp5 format, or if you don't, you can send me the .gp file and I'll export it for you.  If the MIDI was sloppily made, you'll run into such problems, but I can't do more than speculate since I don't have that file to examine.  You can upload them to some file host and send me a link to them in a private message if you want.
