This selection took me longer than I thought because I still couldn't find the right difficulty charts for each class. After a while I think the selection is ok.

As for the list of winners for the previous week it may be updated because I don't know if all the scores are on the leaderboard - it looks a bit messy there

When changing the difficulties it no longer detected everything it previously detected but was still capturing everything new ( thats why daz40s scores are on the list) . I just added the missing scores (everything from the start of the post to my name a while back thats why jobs scores are present).

If a participant is on a list that he shouldnt be, (aka its not his class) all you have to do is add a * at the end of his name ( noticed that you were being counted for some intermediate scores) but yea it should be fine now. I think when the name is blue that means he should have an * in his name but not 100% sure.

Edit EXCEPT you know we should take that asterisk off in your name in masterclass rhythm hehe jk

fun fun, wish it had guitar paths cause it sounds like it would be nice to play. Riverside is one of the few bands where i dont mind thaaat much the duration of songs (although the last 30 seconds without the bass or so coulve been a different song)

This one ended kinda weird? Was also surprised the bassline was more complex than I wouldve imagined genesis to be. Good surprise and pretty easy.

Oh boy!!!!!!! We get

- Godmaster Shady,

- one of the best bands of all time The Volta - please also watch that video, pure art:

probably the most known and airplayed song of them, nothing wrong with that - blast of a song .... if you like dig a bit deeper it´s getting even better the more experimental songwriting gets

- more Godmasters Genesis ... with one of their best songs for me

- Whitesnake - man... how could i ignore them growing up.... probably not metally enough and mainly only 2 songs on airplay.... however - since the CS i got them big on my display - each song a blast to listen and play SO ROCK!

and - Riverside on top - love those 90vibes vocals, can´t wait to play that bass

Hmm I thought there were no guitar tabs for this, but now I see that there are some, I just don't know how correct they are. Maybe you should try, because you're probably better at improving/adding something by ear than I am

Also, I admit that this is a song I put on the suggestion list a long time ago and I chose it this week when looking some advanced bass path, but when I played it later, diff 7 is a bit too high. So I changed it to 6.5.

Never heard this. But really cool with an uncommon bass line

How haven't I played this before?? Maybe I have too many "Here I go again" versions

I think the score is better than the performance (couldn't get in the rhythm of the song)

I think this was one of the few Genesis or Phil Collins songs that I haven't played (now I know why )

I think the guitar tab sounds good on its own and could be a decent starting point but its not what is being played in certain areas of the guitar. for example the arpegios sound a bit different to me, so i tried looking at live videos and didnt have much luck cause the guitar is pretty well hidden in the mix (but the guitarist does seem to fret in different spots of the fretboard) . I am surprised that there are so many videos of riverside on yt though cause when i saw them live they were one of the bands that had a message in the beggining saying "please do not record us or upload footage online"

I forgot that the singer does play bass with a pick so its kinda neat that the cdlc added that in the information (i dont think i even know how to ? but thats the problem of not doing cdlcs consistantly)

but yeaah not sure if i would dive into making it as i mostly just do bass tabs and this bass has already been done i might have a deeper look on thursday when im free.

Really happy to play this, love mars volta

Did some improv lines to not bore myself after I flubbed a slide

That main bassline is veryyyy fun

Looooooooooooove Genesis they're one of my favorite bands, more of a fan of their proggy 70s stuff with Steve Hackett, but can't go wrong with any song on Duke. Mike Rutherford is an extremely underrated bass player (The song The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is probably my favorite performance of his). Had a blast playing this one
