Question

Hi!

I've installed the Steam Windows version on a Mac via porting kit, but the cdlc enabler is not working; it throws an error in Wine. So I wonder if there is a manual way of patching the game files to enable cdlcs.

Thanks in advance!

Usually when that happens, it is because it is the wrong version of the .dll with the wrong version of the game.

I don't know if this is the situation or if it is because it is on a Mac.

The thing is that it's not the Mac version, it's the Windows one running on similar hooks Steam uses for the Steam Deck to run Windows games on Linux. Anyway, the exact build version is 16576867.

I get that, I got that, my meaning was it still is an emulator on a Mac.

I believe that is the newest non beta of the Remastered version. If I linked to the correct .dll. It is an assumption, I have no reason to doubt Phantatsy or his competence, so something else is amiss.

The build for the Beta is 165.   369567

I believe the build for Learn and Play is 165.  396721, At least it was. I am not 100% sure at the moment.

I have no doubt the DLL is working, it must be something else for sure.

You were right; using this DLL worked!
