Rules? No rules! We pick a song and everybody is invited to share his version. Songs shall be called every week, if you don´t manage to nail your version within the week - entrances are ALWAYS welcome. No winners, no losers, just fun and personal progress, a bit bringing in the harvest of the hard work we all do here every week by converting to own produced music, and (for me very important) learning (easy versions) of songs to be able to play them anytime when a guitar is in the room - and that shall be a part of thinking on the next song selection maybe.

So - as we had Any Red Hot Chilli Pepers Song last week  JUST GREAT, yay!!!! Everyone who has not finished his cover - just post whenever ready in the running week (yes, this one) so we all will recognise it.

It's kinda late where i live so imma go to bed, and update the leaderboards when i wake up just so you have a shot to still submit @ Satinuke  and others 

As always giving your ratings would be much appreciated so that it can be more balanced.
I found some kinda odd to rate such as:

Lead - Pinegroove song andd chesney. Pinegrove has odd arpeggios but its short and no solo, ches has a solo but the rest is pretty standard. they both might be advanced though. So lemme know early on incase i need to find another song. I think with practice it might be doable but yea probably not a first sight songs

Bass - I personally found the 3 songs ( pine grove, ches and sam) pretty beginnery . Even though they have lots of notes or may have octaves like in pine groove it goes slow enough which makes it beginner imo.  So thats where I put them and added some solo bass to fill in the slots.

Rhythm-  the master class song rhythm (the one class i find hardest to find a decent song) is pretty simple aswell just some 7th chords soo it might be lower honestly. 

Also please suggest masterclass and begginner songs if you have ones ova here! (they are the classes that have the least amount of songs)

Great week everyone! I will try to be more present for now on since most of the problems of my life are now gone (my father in law is in his house, doing the treatment, he is much better than he was two weeks ago)

My son and I sat down yesterday morning and got four takes recorded on Can't Stop.  This ended up being take 4.  Tones are plain guitar and bass DI to the audio interface.  Drums are from Band in a Box.  Both guitar and bass have EQ, compression, and saturation added.  I tried out a limiting plugin on the master bus as well for a bit more richness.  While my goal was to record a live playthrough, I did splice in 2 small places to cover my wrong notes and move the ending to the bass so it all resolved better.  It was so cool to get to play this tune with my son!  Oh, and this is recorded on his new bass, a Peavey Milestone III.

here are my test scores:





nice song, good octave practice nothing too hard.

pinegroove: the arpeggio part is like 1/4 of the song so thats why i think it might be a bit higher than a 5.5 buut at the same time i think if you rr it it might be doable, lemme know i can still swap to an easier song if needed :V  thought it was a nice song though.

never heard of this song, sounded like something that would appear in an 80s movie. 



Didn't know klone was on cf! I personally don't know any of their songs but I did get to see them at pineapple thiefs concert...or maybe it was riverside  it was one of those two (both great bands and shows). They were the opening band and it was actually quite good. Will have a look at the other stuff on the site.

this was a random song i found by typing hard jrock rocksmith song on yt, sounded nice and looked ok so i picked it.



tried it again today (on a different profile apparently) to see if it was too easy. Conclusion : still dont know xD. looks like itd be easier than pinegrove lead but i cant get a good score so i guess its ok where it is.
