Both bass MC class winners from week 574 need an update, as usual @ pedropmf  came through with some blazing scores at the 11the hour.  Thought I might have had a shot last week, oh well, there's always another week and another opportunity...

What a fun song!  I think relaxed too early and missed the last note.  Reminds me of the time I rented a big Uhual truck and drove an hour on the busiest freeways of Los Angeles, and then relaxed just a moment too early after I pulled into my quiet residential street - and immediately hit the neighbor's car.    Gotta love Rocksmith, consequence of a missed note are not all that serious here...

Sorry, dude. I'm having no much time to play along the week. If you see, Im only posting bass master. Weeks ago I play every song on every path (lead Rithm and bass), but now, as I said, I'm having no much time. Im going to try to post my scores along this week, but, (please, don't misunderstood me) until the 11th hour, as you said, I think I still can post my scores here, but it's up to organizers to accept or not and according to rules, of course. Weeks ago, I saw members wining me  at guitar paths even he/she posting scores much after Saturday 8pm, I shall say, almost at Sunday 8pm. When I was bass advanced, years ago, I was very happy on hit 100% at a song. Then, when the next week started, I thought: "this week, I'm going to win indubitably!" , but when look at winners list, I saw another member that hit 100%, but more SA points than me. It's very frustrating, I know.

But I have to play several times yesterday morning to beat you and @ JobwanMojo , despites that counter shown at my prtscr.

No worries, I very much appreciate you and the other top bass players keeping me on my toes - and I'm a bit sheepish if I came off as whining.  I feel like I've really upped my bass game since I started trying to match - or anticipate - scores that will hold up.   Having lots of fun and making some progress, just glad to be part of the group here...

Trying to keep up with the competition is what makes it so fun, and is what helps us to improve

First results of the week. Agree that are fun songs to play 

 

I thought that advanced song was Raspberry cube and was almost collapsing (I can't do it up at 50%) 

Then I went back to the post and saw that it was Masterclass 

Anyway, Chain Lightning felt easier than the Killer Klowns, but really liked 38 special. Have to ear other songs

Interesting yep good ears! Never heard that rendition/ wasnt aware there was a clown in wwe xD

The og song/ melody is actually from a Czech composer Julius Fucik and generally it's a song that gets played a lot in circus/carnivals/ clown shows hence why they both used it as the base. It just has a hard name to remember imo. It should be easy since his name is Julius like Julius Caeser - aka roman emperor and then song has -> the gladiators which is also roman. But yea I always forget

Great song, love the ramones!

Another great one, good practice switching between a few chords.

I am not really into Anime but it was nice to play something different, has some pretty challenging and unexpected chords.

Now onto the lead sight reads:

Very fun on lead aswell! 

My favorite song of this week, another banger choice by @ cacahuate51  I love this song, and this movie rocks! As a lover of 80s Horror movies, I find this to be a fun and cheesy one! Fun to play too.

38 special and their damn hard outros lol! Great song and overall not too difficult except for some of the solo parts. Love Don Barnes as a vocalist he's amazing!

Oof this kicked my ass! Those chords are soooo difficult I find the chords way harder on lead compared to rhythm, funny! Very challenging but a nice different song pick.

 

Another great week and great picks @ Rodman  very enjoyable as always.

 

I won't be playing anymore this week as I have a shoulder/neck injury so I hope it will get better soon as I love the Championship and want to keep participating but otherwise, I might have to drop out for a while
