I was on steam, and was wondering if they will make song unplayable? if that makes sense?  like if I buy a song from steam, would it still let me buy it or will it just stay there until ubi removes them?  I try getting the "seether song pack" but I went to buy it nothing shows up in the cart, maybe it was a bug but was wondering if they would just start removing everything.  or just wait for people to spend money on it so they get money still.

and  again if this is already been asked and answer my apology, ill delete the post or someone lock it.

just haven't been on steam much anymore since work and all just only play when i get a day of (If i ever do lmao)

Seether song pack should still be available to purchase until Feb 12, 2025. It is probably a bug on your part. I can not test it as I already own the pack. I can tell you it is listed still as for sale. Use a web browser https://store.steampowered.com/app/342769/Rocksmith_2014__Seether_Song_Pack/ instead of purchasing in game. If You tried the Steam Client, your client may not be up to date, the download cache needs cleared, etc.

October 23, 2023 or there round abouts the licenses for Rocksmith 2014 and dlc songs started to expire after 10 years Just as Rocksmith 1/2011 (whatever tag you wish to call it) did in 2021. Ubisoft no longer holds the "rights" to sell after expiration.

If you purchase the song, it will remain in your inventory for "life". How long life is considered, I do not know. The DLC will remain tied to your Rocksmith game and Steam account for as long as Steam remains a viable platform not withstanding Ubisoft doing something completely wacky. Once you own it, it will remain downloadable if you switch machines, reformat current one, etc. They are just not available for sale to those that did not purchase before delisting.

The store pages for delisted songs will remain for now as a historical marker, as the dlc has a game id associated with it.

No, expired / delisted / removed songs can not be made into CDLC.

So if you want that Seether song pack, purchase it now before it is removed in February, or you forget about it. No, I am not an Ubisoft sales person. I have no affiliation to Ubisoft. I am telling you what reality is.

As far as the removal part, it was asked several several several times over. Just Saturday:

and asked over and over again in various threads.
