Thanks for the non DD version @@Shiroo. I find it easier to pinpoint my weaknesses in score attack.

Todays update.

Edit:  tried the intro riff a few times in RR.  I can manage 90% speed with only down strokes but only 85% with alternate picking.  Still i feel i need the alternate to be able to handle 100%.

How do the rest of you pick this riff?

alternate picking is always the way to go you can get more BPM's (Beats per minute) with alternate picking which translates into hitting more notes at a faster pace. In the beginning alternate picking can be challenging but once you get used to it you will never go back to just down strokes.

@@storm20200 Welcome to the championships great score there, If the beginner song seems to simple please feel free to try intermediate and MC as this will help you gauge where you are difficulty wise. Hope to see more scores from you. Great job.

@ Thanks for making me feel welcome. I'll stick with the beginner song because despite the high score I know it sounded nowhere near as good as it should have. I'll have to do a rhythm score though.

First up is an improvement to my lead score, up 2.2% and over 170,000 points. Still not happy with it because I know I'm not playing it cleanly enough.

Next is my rhythm score, this one worried me actually because I found my hand cramping up quite a lot, whether that's because I'm not used to playing so many chords or whether I'm being too tense with my hand I'm not sure. I typically don't play a lot of chords as I don't often venture into rhythm playing. Anyone got any tips?

EDIT: I also added three songs to the song list, I think they all fit in their respective categories.

Great song, absolutely love the rhythm of Full Steam Spacemachine :) Not sure I'm going to get chance to practice much more on this song or ANY of the others this week, really hectic so here's my effort on Royal Republic and we'll see if time permits another chance to get 100%

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

Love this song!! As others have said, it sticks in your head.

The speed of the main riff is waaay out of my league though. I can play it OK at 90% speed, but go to 100% and i just fall in a heap.....my brain & fingers just don't want to co-operate.

78% is about as good as it will get i think.

Well I tried the lead part and even though it's similar to rhythm I can't quite get that one to stick in my head. So I stuck with rhythm and here is an update.

So many great scores on the bass side this week, MC and Intermediate!

I've had an extremely busy week so I haven't been able to play much at all.  I did manage to improve on Crazy Train up to 97% (97.4, but I'll have to do that in a score attack to enter it).

{--edited image out into an update below--}

Not gonna be enough to challenge the leaders, but I'm pleased with my improvement considering my starting accuracy on it.  I'll see if I can get to 98%, and then may try to improve on Space Machine in intermediate which was actually more difficult for me.

--EDIT--

On my next try after posting the above, I was really feeling it and *almost* broke on through to 99% -- hit 98.9, but again I'll have to do that in Score Attack if I want the decimal point considered:

Posted ImageHit my goal, but if I end up doing OK on score attack I might just see how far I can take it.

Hey everyone,

this is my score for Space Machine - Lead: 95.12%

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=273254970

When I heard it for the first time, I really thought I wouldn't be able to play it... but after practising for the whole week, I really made some progress :-)

I realized that the Leaderbords work for this one, how awesome is that?

Greetings,

Azrael

Check out my easy tutorial on how to add a metronome to your CDLC: Mute the original music, play only with the metronome and find out how good you really sound! Also: Find CDLCs that have the metronome enabled!

Want a USB-Footswitch that you can use to control the tone selection and all the menus in Rocksmith? Check out Rodman's Tutorial and my additions to that!  Footswitch_Logo.png

My CDLCs: Devin Townsend - Life, Deep Peace, Ih-Ah!, Deadhead; Farin Urlaub - Ok

My ideas for new features in Ignition, e.g. filters for Multitrack CDLC and Metronome CDLC.

Final score this week I think, somehow surprised myself and got 1.2 million, I'll think that is as high as I'll get it for now.
