Here are my Bass scores for the week. Hope to get a chance to play guitar as i really like that Wolfmother song. Reminds me of Jack White. My baby son was born last Saturday, is health and doing great.  That is why i did not play last week. Good to see you all again.

Congrats to acorlett2005 on the new son!  Your first?  My first (and only so far) daughter is 1 year and 5 months old, and she loves toddling in to my computer room where I have Rocksmith set up when I am playing bass.  She says / demands a "PICK!" and then starts strumming away when I give her one.  Maybe she'll grow up more musically inclined than her old man from an early age -- I started pretty late.  Anyway, have fun with the family!

I like the Wolfmother song this round too, so I started on it.  Took me 3 tries to match your 100% accuracy (I had done it before it got selected for this week's challenge), but I got it:

I'll make the Guns N Roses song my actual entry, though -- just downloaded it and I'll see how I manage it over the week.

Again, big congrats on the new addition to your family!

--EDIT--

Tried the GNR song.  Gonna need a good few RR sessions moving up from like 55% speed to 100% on Accelerate to get decent at this one...  Still, for a first attempt ever I figure I can work from this:

Gives me a goal to work towards, anyway.

Oh, and anyone else think the song volume in Welcome to the Jungle is quite low compared to the average custom or official track?  No problem to work with, but I actually had to turn UP the song volume in the mixer, which I almost never do.

@ Motive, nice symbol in the right upper corner.

How did you implement this instead the standard symbols?

@ Motive, nice symbol in the right upper corner.

How did you implement this instead the standard symbols?

I found tutorial on smitty anvil , It seems  SA dont work now.

1 Find cache.psarc in root folder RS.

2. backup this, and unpack with RSToolkit.

3. Go into unpacked folder, there archives cache1(2...8).7z

4. Find cache8.7z. Enter in archive with help 7zip packer (dont unpack nothing)

5. Find folder in archive D:cache_Pccache8.7zgfxassetslibs (in window 7-zip)

6. Drud and Drop here all files pathbass(lead, rhythm)_256(64,128).png.dds from unpacked archive : link

7. Close 7-zip

8. In RSToolkit select unpacked folder(from step 2) and pack new chache.psarc.

9. Drop new cache.psarc in root RS (replace old)

Run and check.

This icons possible to replace on your customs. Load pathbass(or other)_256.png.dds to  Paint.net, remade and save 256, 128, 64. e.t.c.

Ps There in cache 4 - D:cache_Pccache4.7zgfxassetsviews  is different logos (intro_studio_logos.png.dds), splashscreens (introsequence_i11.dds). it too possible replace.

Hahahahahahahaaaaa.

Yeah right.. I think I'm going to go for MC (Rythm) this week, mainly as I like the song the best.

It'll be a tough old slog as I was all over the place in some sections..  ;)

I know this doesn't count - but I guess I'll need a non-DD version.

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

Here it goes:

Intemediate Lead - 78.49%, 108 streak:

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/3317212927257506799/0453A4BA8B59F228B8457F1CFA3D96B6C718F28D/

So, this Hammer-Ons section is fun, with some RR and practice I should be able to tackle it better, as right now. when I lose rhythm. I can't get back to it for longer (when song starts I can get pretty decent streak). I have the biggest problem with this chord part. My fingers hurts and it makes other stuff more troublesome cause they're getting tired. On top of that I'm getting miss after miss (it looks like only 12 fret is hitted well by me). Tough.

Intermediate Bass - 99.64%, 659 streak:

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/3317212927257540661/AA279420A850AEDC23ABD7D33E6345B9EA2DD56B/

That was quite nice. If only I had paid attention and noticed that open string is followed with 1st fret maybe I could get closer to 100%.

Anyone know some drop d cdlc that are easy on the fretting hand?  Would be fun to play those while resting.

Some great starting scores guys keep em coming. On a side note after I snapped a string yesterday I decided to try a new set of strings to see how they would fair with Rocksmith, I purchased 2 sets of Ernie ball Top Light Bottom Heavy strings 10s - 52s to see if it would be good with the drop tunings and I must say that from what I had a chance to try last night they worked really well. I still haven't tried them on last weeks songs which is what I wanted to do but I think these strings are going to be the best possible strings for Rocksmith as it may help avoid the recognition issues and they appear to work well for bending as I didn't seem to have any issues when trying bends with these new strings. Surprisingly they stayed in Tune very well for being new strings and I only had to retune maybe twice after putting them on. The thicker strings give such a meatier sound that I love it. I will keep you all posted when I am able to check on the other songs.
