I struggled alot with this the last couple of days, but turning Bluetooth off in Windows settings made me able to start RS2014. Now however, the menus and sound are gone within the game. I have sound when I start it and login, but as soon as it starts up and starts to enumerating downloaded content the sound is gone and so are the menus.

This cannot work with ASIO if enableASIO=0 and if ASIO.Output Driver= blank.

I would set :

[Config]
EnableWasapiOutputs=0
EnableWasapiInputs=0
EnableAsio=1

and

[Asio.Output]
Driver=Focusrite USB ASIO

and see what happen.

Try setting latency one notch up in the game menu, in the audio engine settings, to see if "strange signals" are going away. Maybe also try to set the asio buffer of your Focusrite interface on a higher value.

This probably doesn't help your case, but if you have switched to using a different audio output, try reverting to what you used previously.

For me, all the RS crashes I ever had were caused by audio, and were never solved by reinstalling. In particular, USB headphones cause random crashes for me, so I only use audio jack headphones with the game when not using speakers.
