CDLC on linux or steam deck?

You can use wine to execute windows programs/the mod installer and steam has protonlayer for the actual game, RS14 is rated GOLD for linux - so it should be running smoothly.

You can see how to enable proton here.

I haven't actually tried doing this on linux myself, but this is how I'd go around getting it working.

Since the cdlc enabler (apparently) doesn't work on linux you'd need to put the .dll file in your rocksmith folder manually for cdlc to work.

I actually looked that that thread before I posted. I tried placing the DLL  but it didnt do anything. tried the winetricks thing and it didnt work. 

 

the game works just no cdlc. so not a huge loss
