Yesterday I was at the Whitesnake + Europe concert. It was great to hear The Final Countdown live! On this occasion, I played this for fun

 

Back to business!

This is certainly difficult for beginners. I would rate it a 4.5-5. Besides, it's not my cup of tea at all and chart is uncomfortable to play...

Fun song. Last year's Eurovision winner. I rated it a 6 so this is an advanced class song.

Oh arpeggio throughout the song, @ Rodman I know you can't wait to play this

@ nlbsmglsk  @ someotherbruce  - I have not tried to use Linux in a long time but there's some details here - https://github.com/theNizo/linux_rocksmith - on setting up Rocksmith in Ubuntu through Proton and while it looks like it could be various levels of unfun audio routing stuff, the page does say that most of the normal instructions for Rocksmith in Linux do introduce a fair amount of lag but there are some options that can eliminate that. Just thought I would share that just in case you haven't run across it before.

@ Lilumina  - I would recommend playing in Score Attack when you consistently hit 98-99% accuracy as it's a matter of the tenths or hundreths of a percent that could push you to winning the week. Additionally, if you and someone else score 100% the winner is whomever has the highest score, no score = no win in that case.

@ Mikson  - I definitely, accidentally fudged up one or two difficulty bits and the Maneskin song definitely fell into the wrong category. Judging song difficulties when one may not be 100% in charge of their faculties is perhaps not always the best option.

And they just don't interact with the game well (or at all). And if I break my install, I'm not sure I'd get them running again - I tend to not take notes.

Oh well, that's a deal breaker for me. Currently on Win10 I have no noticeable lag, although I remember doing some tweaking years ago. I play mostly during the night, so an amp is a no-go.

Strange thing about your laptop. Do you use the usb headset with it?

Yeah, I tried a similar thing with JACK on Arch some time ago, and the lag was still too much for my taste, although better than on default ubuntu. I'm just gonna give up on trying to make this work until someone tells me they have a zero-lag setup working (not holding my breath).

1) Hell yeah! Man! what a good combination of cool bands.. Did the Europe guys play Chericho!?

2) I don´t know what to say - tears of joy of course all over the place - no pain, no gain. That´s really the part i never focused on on my journey.. there were songs that naturally worked well like Love Hurts which has a lot of that stuff, but must has been just swimming to survive through that parts... I think that´s also because i never started to really use the fingering view as well as the chord naming cause a lot of cdlcs lack those.... i really enjoy the struggle there cause it´s really needed practice. Nevermind those scores i may produce. It´s a pity however that the Maneskin song did not make it to adv cause i was so hoping to have a fight with you on that one... life is a bitch Rod

No Robot except a robotic arm that served as a synth device. It was a rather minimalistic stage design which was great. Deepest respect for Bellamy who does - being the only guitarist - all of the guitar work ( i really thought they had a rhy guitarist ) by himself while doing all the singing..... that show showed how great that songs are constructed being carried by the great great basslines also... one of the bands i totally ignored before the Championships and i love now a lot (like also Metric, Ghost, Rob Zombie, Arctic Monkeys, Wolfmother and many more.

The CS is good for you!

Ah... man maybe you should have anyway! Taking that screenshot and posting it is a good thing. I think that great to see players from the same or classes above also struggle on some songs at least at the beginning of the week and eventually squeeze out the one or other %, or even find the time to solve the puzzle the song offers and master it eventually. We are all here for fun and improvement. If you wanna have a smile go to last week and check for my mighty lead adv scores

You mean Cherokee? Of course they played! Generally, they performed before Whitesnake and the concert lasted an hour, so they mainly played their greatest hits like The Final Countdown, Carrie, Rock the Night, Open Your Heart, which was enough for me, because I don't know their entire discography very well.

I found a photo from the concert I was at on June 22, 2019. This robot could have been part of the Simulation Theory Tour and it was really impressive!

Rhythm

I was playing in RR 100% speed of course, bugged song.

I guess palm mutes are missing here, but I really like this song.

I think Rhythm difficulty is similar to Lead, diff 8 is a bit too high. I would give a 7 for both.

Feel like I should definitely be able to do better for the Encanto song but it's like I hit some sort of wall where I just HAVE to miss the simple notes in the damn song. As I learned in another great Disney movie though, I just gotta keep swimming
