These 3 do not differ much in the level of difficulty for me.

 @ Nacholede  has authored some fantastic bass charts so this is a fun two-week extravaganza.

Pushing it a bit for beginner and definitely not a 2 difficulty - just the strumming speed alone makes it a 4 IMO:

The most fun I've had playing an Ellefson chart - but the low tuning (it's Bb Eb Ab Db) and some fast moving on the fretboard make this more of an advanced level chart. I'd rate it a 6.5 difficulty:

 

Loved playing this one too...probably a 5.5-6 and I found it less difficult than Family Tree:

 

And of course I had to punish my hands with a good Cliff Burton track:

Ah good song, good chart, particularly difficult in one part, 9.5 overall difficulty rating is a bit too much.

Hello everyone, 

 

My friend basically threw a bass guitar at me and demanded I play Rocksmith with him for an hour.  Best thing anyone had ever made me do.  Ive only been playing for about 5 weeks, so here is my very first attempt at the  competition.

Wow... so many cool songs to play this week...

Class first:

Hmmm.. i don't know how many times I played this one... While I got chorus no problem, the verse riff is a mystery...
Also the bridge with arpeggio in the middle of the song... no-go...

I this one the solo part in the middle of the song is above my abilities

In this one, I don't know if it is possible to play chorus as tabbed.
I cheated a little bit and played A string instead of E on 5th... worked much better...

 

Few songs from other classes worth mentioning are below:

More complicated that it sounds initially...

This is easier for me to play than Megadeath - Family Tree...

I kinda agree, but you PLAYERS need to post your scores. There's no 'silent majority' here, only participants and spectators. Most people only post scores for their class, so it looks like stuff gets unplayed. Especially the unlisted arrangements.

Also the selection list is not made of rubber, and rating a song properly takes time and effort. This makes it hard for me to blame someone for not wanting to waste arrangements.

Alright, time for some scores! 

I got so into the song that I completely ignored the random misses all over the place. This is without a doubt my favorite punk song ever.

I played this one so many times, one of my favorites from The Great War. Was more focused on this one than Dig Up Her Bones

This is actually a really badass song from no other than Ed Sheeran. Pretty fun to play

I love this song so much. I saw Metallica play this one live and it was beautiful

This album is a masterpiece

This is such an underrated gem. I screwed up a bit the last solo but so far this is my best score ever on this song

Tomorrow i'll play Somewhere in Time again and i'll put up the score

This was another great week of CDLC's!! Megadeth kicked my ass! It was really fun playing though, being in Bflat I was able to just flatten my 5'er and give my B string a workout.

The Misfits rock and was super fun to play!

No Leaf Clover is by far my favorite song on the S&M album!! 

A full Iron Maiden album play through is an epic workout for the hands!
