I'm posting the new week early for personal schedule reasons but I won't finalize Week 409 winners until tonight US time. This week is a theme week as each song on the main paths/difficulties is from a different decade representing 50 years of music history (1970s-2010s). A good mix of genres as well, with soul/r&b, new wave, alternative, pop, and hard rock/metal all represented. 

Note: As by Stevie Wonder is a real endurance test - good luck!

this one is really fun i recommend everyone to try play it, never heard this song before and i love it. what great musicianship

hard song, dont really care for Faith No More tho

 

James Blunt rhythm requires capo which i dont have @ jellisjenius might want to write that in the download section?

lead part is more fun, but this song is great

saw Stevie Wonder is 7 min song so decided to skip it lol

I can see that most of the songs from this selection I tested and rated before, so you probably followed my guitar paths rating on the selection sheet. I see you swapped ratings for Lead and Rhythm of Stevie Wonder's song, I played it once but I think Lead was a bit more difficult (will try again).

Evidence you can give 8, I rated it 7.5 on the first try but then I played again and figured it was 8 after all, I just forgot to change it in the worksheet.

good lord... I should not have tried the Stevie Wonder song first! My hands are dead now. They died at around the 5:00 mark. I swear the bass player is a cyborg!

I think that song is a 9 bass at least - combo of difficulty (tough riff that varies) and sheer length - don't fight me on that lol

@ Hyphema  Yes I originally rated it a 9 difficulty for the reason you mentioned - the last 2-3 minutes of the song my hands were just dead. Either way it's worthy of Masterclass.

Thanks! Yes you're right, not sure how I got the difficulties switched on As but fortunately it won't affect the tierings this week. I will go ahead and update those and Evidence difficulties in the OP.

As I can see in the score sheet, you are in beginner class for guitar (Lead & Rhythm) and intermediate class for bass.
